I think most of the case on you stems from the guy you replaced, 3dice, being almost universally a scum read.

It was BS.
Same for SirCakez; he was really obviously town.
Thor too, for that matter. It's also how Anarchy Shard got lynched. (I don't think there was a legitimate case there.)

Frankly the least-BSed reads for me were the Titus/Postie ones since I felt there was actual evidence I could push there. But in lylo, we needed their votes.

Fwiw, I think rc's "let's get a mass claim" bit on d3 was super sketchy, especially w no guilty result, but then town never seemed to care. IMO that was towns worst moment (among what I'd paid much attention to).

Oh yeah, Titus and postie looked like solid behavioral wolf reads in my book. But that pair was night action cleared, to the point where I'd have never stopped laughing at the whole game state if that was the actual team. I didn't want to be really explicit there in case it WAS them and their night actions WERE that bad... but that would have just been terrible.

Ps yeah that's true. Otoh the possibility of 4 prs made lynching attractive. I was kinda preferring NL... But I think I was about alone in that preference.

Experience mislynching him before, you could say.

I made almost the exact same case you did against him in my first game with him when he was town. (RC was also there, as actual scum.)

I've played with him a lot since then, seen him as both town and scum a lot, so I got a good idea of what's alignment-indicative for him and what's not. A lot of his insight was keen, even if not correct, and that's something he doesn't show when scum.

It was still technically correct play to lynch though, because while an extra days of PRs would in fact be beneficial to the town...if the town had lynched correctly, there was the theoretical chance of them stopping another kill, giving them an extra lynch, something they would

have had if they had no-lynched.

Very true. The better move for town was definitely to push for a lynch.

Just from the mod point of view, seeing the almost certain lynch of a VT pretty much from start of day made me wonder what town was thinking.

That said, I'll admit you guys got lucky that all 3 of you were around and able to pull off the hammer.

I think I definitely should've scrutinised RC more for the early-game weirdness and Anarchy push. I had no idea how to sort you and Ranger though, so I kind-of outsourced my reads there and that messed things up further.

And godammit, this is like the 5th consecutive game I've been in now where RC has been scum and every time I scumread him at some point and then got like reverse-paranoid and townread him. I think from now if I scumread him at any point I'm just going to push for his lynch for the rest of the game.
