We're playing with someone who leaked who scum is directly in the game thread when they were supposed to be dead. It happens.

Yeah. In the game redtea and I played together, they were posting comments on the game in the dead thread and ended up accidentally leaking who the scum was in the actual game thread itself.

Because I don't think his stances are nearly as dissonant as you portrayed them.

I mean, I posted my own reads and received pretty much no indication that anyone found them very interesting. So far they've remained largely unchanged, so effectively I have already listed the people I would be most likely to vote for currently (mostly redtea and numberQ), and described why I think they'd be decent wagons. I'm not really seeing a lot of other players posting their lists, and given you are one of my town-leans I would like to hear from you in particular.

I don't think it would just be helpful for deciding on a wagon, but helpful for the game state as a whole if the largely townread and largely scumread players posted their reads. Do you take issue with my reasoning here?

Now that you explained it, it sounds better. It's just that I feel a bit weirded out by the way you phrase some stuff, but it's probably NAI and just your personality...it's what I want to believe for now at least.

I agree it's counter productive but I don't think scum is gonna always follow consensus on every read, especially on the town reads that have less impact than the counterpart.

To be fair, I've been playing Mafia with less experienced players recently. Maybe I've gotten a bit complacent with how I word things, since people in less experienced games tend to just follow the most experienced guy in the room anyways and I rarely have to actually explain myself as either faction. I'll try to make an effort to include my reasoning with my proposals in the future, but let me know if you catch me doing that again so I can explain.

Also, I don't really find that too surprising. I'm okay with an nQ wagon myself at this current game state, but we're only like 2 days in. I sure as hell ain't gonna be the one to hammer this early.

552 also makes me feel better about calling Tejate town - this seems like a really likely way for relatively new town to feel about Shirou's play and it's something I think relatively new scum wouldn't think to say. I don't like 557 though, very sideline-y in a bad way.

when i read through your iso it felt like there was a lot of questioning or like, "why do this"/"what gain from it" but it wasn't quite like a fos but sort of just... a presence. so seeing it sort of be sidelined to fit into a new narrative is ??? to me, even if it's not 'new' but like... a more forward one. if that makes sense. like. "this is the case i am sending out to people on ceph."

tbh i think some of my issue with how you treated the shirou stuff was i guess... hmm

why do you think shirou approaches solving/reading someone like that as scum if he's capable of building a narrative of like, reading through psychology/asking tejate "imagine you're this alignment, etc"? because if people see it and believe it to be genuine, i guess like...

what do you think the gain is through faking that versus a more 'traditional' questioning that could resonate more easily with people?
