based on people's opinions about the setup and can lead to a more coordinated and focused town.
Alright-y then...
I think Fire Assassin's move to suggest a no lynch would've been a little risky as town because it's not a popular idea in overall site meta and he wouldn't have known how it would've been received (high risk for scum). I have a mild townread there. Other than that, this thread so far has been like getting reads off of an MD thread.
But, you know, by all means keep talking in circles and pretend you're doing something to build "town focus" or some such.

Here's a mental exercise for you:
What would prevent me or anyone else in this player list, as scum, from jauntily (and truthfully) rattling off their philosophy to scumhunting?
Conversely, what are town supposed to "organize" around?
Bonus points if you can make a post that doesn't sound like it belongs in a newbie game or a discussion thread.

what i mean by disorganized is that the whole town will have less of a plan to move forward through a game with a unique set-up if they don't discuss how to navigate said unique set-up. it's always good to talk about theory early on in the game so no one makes a boneheaded move that screws over the town because of a quirk in the format. all i had going in to this game were my own theories and i see nothing wrong with getting them proofread by being posted.
you are also voting me. how is talking about theory a scumtell exactly? what anti-town behavior am i exhibiting? i am just discussing the format and want to continue to do so so that we can have a coherent plan here. someone immediately suggested no lynching! it is clear we at least need to keep talking until we can come to some sort of vague consensus on how to continue on through the game in reference to the two worlds. additionally, theory discussion is a great source of information on day one because it forces people to discuss the game directly and argue about real things before anyone has died. day 1 is so often a crapshoot due to the lack of information. more information makes day 1 easier for town and a better tool on later days during rereads.

Ok. That seems like exactly what's happened.
possibly, i definitely didn't think that was what you meant. i do want to clarify i think change in behavior between worlds, in the right context, can certainly add strength to a case. if that falls under the umbrella of your point, we still disagree
