Drixx would not replace out like that as scum period.

Pedit:

I am Town by rolePM
Creature is town by Dave and Maxous.
RC is town because Drixx.

This means either Gorkington or nancy are the only potential scum that could hammer.

So that means (assuming PV town although I disagree) there would be 2-3 scum on that wagon.
The only potential scum on that wagon make Leonshade impossible to be scum.
This is a complete misapplication of VCA.
Bus = voting to attempt to get scum lynched with a majority of scum on the wagon.
At most two scum are off the wagon.

Therefore Leonshade = bus.
You said scum wouldn't bus.

Therefore nancy you are backpedlaing to try to lynch Leonshade.

I am not voting Leon.

Town in PYP lost because they mass claimed on like D2 or some ridiculous bullshit.

It was lost before I replaced in and the obvTown decided to lynch anyone that didn't agree with them. They were a town block which I fucking hate. I messed up that game didn't do VCA and was complete and utter RL nightmare.

MariaR has a Town tell. DGB has a scum one. MoI I think may have a scum one all in their openings.

This is pretty close to where my PoE is. I would take out nancy and maybe substitute Caesar.

Calling either Vecna or LUV scum doesn't feel right, but my other TRs are even stronger at this point. Caesar's Forbidden Palace build claim and fail seems like a bad scum gambit, but if scum wanted to swipe the wonder away from town, having Caesar claim that would've been a good way to dissuade town from trying to build the Wonder.

Gork I feel fine calling scum, largely due to Gin's play. Gork's townier posts are still fakeable, unlike the play of many of my other townreads.
No it wouldn't.

Caesar claiming it per everyone else wouldn't stop someone else since they would also get it and confTown themselves.

This logic is bad. Since everyone townreads PV see PV. Doesn't mean shit.

You think scum are cloudkicker and Nancy right? Glork? Why exactly are you saying that Ali, Leon and RC cannot be scum on this wagon?
Because that scum team would have hammered Yuri earlier. Town was begging for a Beeboy lynch. Having all the scum on the end doesn't match the narrative. An all town wagon on Beeboy without a scumclaim? That doesn't happen on d1.

Opposite gives them a guaranteed mislynch (or two), or their target to bus.
Again waste.

They don't know the other target.

If they know target Y is scum then same if the target is town gives them a fake confirm.
If target Y is town then they force themselves into a situation where lynching their buddy becomes highly likely.

No result proper play.

I stated my opinion, and where it came from.

Your opinion was "Ugh, I hate compromise lynches".

So, 20/20 hindsight argument...."don't participate in them. Instead, read the ISO and see if you see what PeregrineV sees. If you do, do not vote the player. If you do not, discuss why."

People are fallible. They have the burden of proof to prove me wrong unless they are a demonstrated scumhunting god/goddess/deity.

You didn't care to fight so your opinion is hollow.

I am right til others prove me wrong. Otherwise scum will convince me I am manipulatable. You have to prove it. You have to care and give a damn.

So do not post who you are willing to vote.

Instead round up three of your hardest-core scumreads from all the evidence in this game that you can gather.

And give us the chance to ignore it,

And then call us out on it.
I did that already and it was ignored. Repeating the same damn thing and expecting different results is insanity.

This was written Pre PV scum claim so this:

I stopped when the page length got insane but I don't recall if Titus ever let me post this.

Spoiler: Page 1 Summary
Both Vecna and LUV vote for no resolution here to instantly give it weight. Meanwhile Leonshade (light town read but would lynch if no lynch would happen instead) and Maxous townread of the century try to figure out which is better. ObvTown PV votes Arts.

Vecna then throws shade on Arts and what it said are some of the most OP powers for town in a game that analyzes. Each player (per Nahdia's post) is limited to ONE wonder. Scum can't take them all. This is likely a complaint of "oh we can't stop another wonder". PV said it best why arts is a good choice. It's another wonder. Priority should have been Sciences, Arts, then None. I would have been okay with Arts. Just not NONE.

Spiffeh does damage control asking about Arts publically here.

Spoiler: Page 2 Summary
What's wrong with playing not to lose is that it is inherently playing to lose. It assumes town is incompetent before the majority have posted. Taking None says "I don't trust town to not be snowballed by scum". It's a subtle shade of every player in the game. Titus while being very annoying with her post ban can solve games. Me in my weird logic way is sometimes right. It's a matter of being given tools to do so. Voting to deny town tools is bullshit. FoS on LUV from that first post on page 2.

Vecna who already had shade from bullshit none reason props Vecna up. I can understand a town block. This has 0 foundation to be a mind merge block yet. They are all saying "none" for the same reasons. Scum don't have daychat so in this case it's really hard to manufacture authentic plans without it. Therefore this likely pressure of none is in order to control Town from having information. It's too quick to be all town like Titus was suggesting later. When she had that town block I was like fuck that noise. If anything they were all scum.

LUV then shades the wonders as "sucking" when these could instantly form a town block (as Titus described). I'm not a fan of townblocks but as in Undertale I do see their use and used it to lynch Maxous. I'm not 100% opposed to town blocks but I am opposed to them on no information and including people actively working against town interests gets a hell no from me.

Leonshade points out exactly the problem against LUV. Likely Leonshade and LUV opposite alignments here. Titus comes in and asks where 5 heads. It's a good question to ask but 5 heads in this is the most likely answer. I call that NAI. I doubt Nahdia swings too far from balance here and does something like 1 scum or 10 scum. If anything 3 and 3 could be possible too but if it's single ball it's almost certainly 5. I posted what I did about the first post later in the game to see reactions. The fact there is a wonder that confirms alignment means that there's probably just town and scum and this makes Leon probably town based on gut but it's a very light townread because as Titus said the 5 is too specific here it feels weird but IMHO probably town.

Then Spiffeh comes in and bolsters None as well. He says scum can take out the role that they are most threatened about. However that doesn't address the other Wonders that would exist in the game and that would stop them from NK'ing their biggest threat towards them being lynched. It'd be a scum's dilemma. I had the same in Shadowrun and had to buddy up to Frozen Angel for the reason she was the doctor but I couldn't kill her else I'd reveal I knew she was the doctor which would put a huge FoS on me when we were down a scum from a smart action from McMenno. This dilemma pins scum. Absolutely sure scum can plan but then we also see something similar to what we saw here at the start where all the scum are piling on None because it is clearly the pro scum choice.

Post 42 by Vecna is blatantly false. Town absolutely should discuss who should get what wonder. It's one of the best things town did in Shadowrun. To be frank I'm shocked I was able to invent an out and Scout wasn't lynched and I wasn't playing the game to win alone after accidentally directing the lynch onto the traitor. It's also what confirmed Maxous as scum to me because there HAD to be a liar between the two. We don't know what would be coming up at all.

Spiffeh then actually puts his vote where he says on none.

ABR then says he's a romanticist at heart. That's a art style that praises individualism. Source. ABR is always for less information being out there. This however is the one type of game where I think the emperor should streak naked sans pants. After Shadowrun I don't blame ABR. It also tells us he is against sciences and if he had to he'd vote arts. It's what looks like a throw away post but is actually very informative here.

Post 48 then is ABR following up on this. His none vote is one against sciences. He is very anti science but he actually gives a priority. Between this and something later is why I townread ABR hard. He just doesn't want to read this mountain of posts/activity.

Spiffeh then throws shade on Titus unnecessarily. We lost because I quit fighting for Magna scum. I had a bickering match and let Titus do her own thing because that was more fun and I replaced out of the hydra. I will NOT make that same mistake again. I will shut up when it is protown to do so but I won't ever stop telling her my scumreads. Hence why I did the bare minimum when she post banned me for not agreeing that Spiffeh was town (among others).

Spoiler: Page 3 Summary
Leonshade comes in and Vecna doesn't attack him for not campaigning for his option. This is odd for Vecna. Instead it makes a general plea to the group. This is likely because Vecna doesn't have to hunt. In PYP he was scum. Vecna and I play scum very similarly going through the scum PT. Vecna is all about control as scum. It was more important for it to get none than to fake hunt or get into an argument with Leonshade here. Vecna is already displaying an agenda rather than hunting. Source

Vecna being the first to bring up 5 players is an excellent response to Titus. IMHO it is a slip here. I deliberately did not mention it in my page one summary so that way Titus's POV could be preserved here as this is somewhat for her.

LUV then comes in and shades Titus again for saying she can't solve this game. WHY? He could just have kept his none post. There is no reason to shade Titus there. FoS on LUV increases. Especially after PYP when Titus was mostly right. If she had lived pretty sure that's a town win.

MariaR is having a bold opinion. Take a look at the PT where Maria R and Vecna were scum together. Maria was meeker than anything just more like "tell me what to do". MariaR in the other game trolled the start and tried to manipulate thoughts of her early and was wishy washy but loud. Never really posting an opinion. Maria R is the likely first townie to be deceived to the collaboration of scums voting for none.

Spiffeh then turns around and asks about the case for Sciences. This is more ignoring of Leonshade and going after Titus. Hint: It's because Titus is a threat who can solve this game when she isn't derping. Spiffeh is scum sis. *lightly smacks you* The alternative if I am wrong on one of my scum reads but I doubt Leon is scum here as he wouldn't highlight Vecna's post here. It's clear Leon doesn't believe Vecna slipped. It's very casual. I don't think Vecna slipped either BUT I do think it's fishy. If Leon is scum it'd be with Vecna or Leon is most likely town.

Vecna then just tries to brush Leon and Titus off with just "most likely" while that is accurate. 6 and 4/4 and 3/3 are also viable options. The fact is we just don't know and the 5 being first while likely is still suspect but not to "slip" levels. The smiley afterward and ignoring the Titus push is common of scum letting their buddy coast. If Vecna really thought Titus was being destructive Vecna would push here. But Spiffeh and Vecna can't appear too coordinated.

PV is town for trying to not push an agenda here. He's just calmly explaining to Titus where she can still do what she can without Sciences.

LUV then defends Vecna for doing the 5 post completely unnecessarily. I had been operating under a theory of 5 for a little bit. The proper townie thing to do would have been push Titus for her mistake. Instead neither of the three of them do. They push Titus for pushing science because the "NONE" is more important than the mislynch. Because if Titus gets her none she could easily steam roll this game and Titus is a very hard D1 mislynch.

LUV says we don't need powers. This is correct. We don't need powers. But we should be using every tool we are given. FoS LUV stronger.

Vecna and LUV don't have day chat so Vecna telling LUV to let it go is obvious as fuck. No way town says to a townread not to defend them. It may be obvious but you get reads from that. It deliberately shuts down conversation. Vecna as scum doesn't want to be talked about same with LUV. The center of attention is just bad for most scum players. I blame RNGJesus for this scum team because they work well together and are very good at deception (evidenced by their win before). I see the same markers as PyP.

Elbirn is trying to be ABR number 2. :P Obv Town.

Vecna at the end of page three then remembers he should townread LUV when he says not to defend him so he throws it in. You can use everything up to post 74 to townread LUV. =28406]LUV ISO. Please explain how that little content gets elevated to a town read. To quote Vecna, suspicion of Vecna grows

Spoiler: Page 4 Summary
Vecna again doesn't hunt and decides to instead be annoying with Elbrin. Spiffeh continues to push the scum dream of none. PV continues on his trying to convince and being transparent bit. Frogger repeats the same arguments rinsed washed and repeated by this point. And then "arts is just fucking stupid"...That's not even a reason. It's not clear it's stupid and it is just another way to sneak on "none".

A&N posts their FoS for people on none and I whole heartedly agree but not because they are voting none but because they are voting to deny town power. There isn't a scum benefit here that is so OP that we shouldn't have given town power. None was STUPID.

Elbirn then changes his mind and votes the same because of all the "voices" agreeing it should be the right then when it clearly isn't.

Titus here gets a scumread of Vecna and I thought "Yay...maybe a game where we agree..." Then Titus townreads Vecna and I'm like

LUV then asks us to imagine the damage. A Titus town doesn't let scum do the damage because she finds where scum were plotting and nukes them to orbit. Boooo....LUV's entire argument is scum deceive people imagine it. Then if they don't have powers THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO DECEIVE PEOPLE. Like OMG. They don't quit being scum because we deny town power. OMG.

And Vecna is on another planet if he thinks we're the same person. ROTFLMBO. He just threw shade on me before I even POSTED anything other than sciences. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

PV I can understand his reasons for none over Sciences but Sciences with Titus is like fucking gold. I'm sorry that was crazy. Arts was second best and none third. The sciences are literally what brought us out of the dark ages. That's a GOOD thing.

If there are 14 alive, and 5 scum, leaving 9 town, how is today any chance of losing?
14 Town means 8 majority. 14 - 8 = 6.

If scum are hoarding vig and get second it is GG if we mislynch
12-7 = 5

Vecna moreso than LUv because of flat out missing the towntell in the first post.

MariaR is almost always picked as a mislynch candidate. Mafia is NOT a popularity contest it is a lynch scum contest and quite frankly to me MariaR is almost the easiest player to read on site.

I am saying there is not enough there to townread him on when MariaR towntold you ignored it.

When I tried to pressure you and so did Notice the lynch was changed.

no, she claimed to have day2 tried to get Masoleum, "blowing her wad", so to speak, and then nothing since.

Put that way, you try to get the next 'hood wonder. Or the next.

She indicated she did not.
If nancy built a neighborhood wonder then someone would say "I am in a hood with nancy"

It is either she did not built it or she neighborized all her scum buddies.

I think she is scum but a lack of cc means she did not probably build a neighborization wonder.

Yes, that is my point. When you claim the way she did, , emotionally it seems like you would try for the next neighboorhood wonder, or the next one.

She does not have appeared to have done that.

I think it is because she is scum.
Maybe maybe not.

I agree it needs explanation though. I have a couple of plausible reasons in my head. But if I share them she uses them.

Damn this thread accelerated all of a sudden.

Anyways.....I even said Gerry was probably town when I voted him. My reason for voting him was pure annoyance with his terrible play, and I stated as much. If youre going to use such arguments, look at all your townreads first because it was them that actually went on to speedhammer the slot.

And yes, I did townread LUV very early. Yes it was mostly meta. Who the fuck are you to tell me I cannot do that, yet you do the _EXACT_ same thing with Drixx all game long. You have townread the slot over like 10 posts over the entirity of day 1. Stop being such a hypocrit and coming up with shit reasons just to cling to your scumread of me.
day1, day2, day3 build attempts & any actions lastnight, please

@Venca
Day1 I tried to build that wonder that Mathblade ended up getting (stonehenge its called I think?)

Day 3 I denied the wonder investigation manipulator to scum.

I did not use it Night 3

On night 4 I used my wonder with an invalid order that would still visit Nancy, in the hopes of visiting the red fort builder (the wonder that shows who visits you every night). This in the offchance to detect whether or not creature really did roleblock me. Sadly Nancy did not build the Red Fort.
You wonder only fucks with investigations what did you do?

if youre going to continue this nonstop blitz of posting, you should understand that
A) its not changing anything about how im perceiving him specifically
B) its making this thread a fucking chore to read.

you keep saying that scum is going to drive the gamestate if you dont spam to stop them, but i dont really see why anyone would seriously advocate towards lynching in the next few days.
and if somehow a quicklynch happens, then whoever's town throwing around their votes can eat shit postgame.

theres also that it doesnt really seem like theres any momentum on anyone except nero, so i dont really get why youre congesting the thread here.

condense a case on vecna if you think hes scum.
like.
point by point
why is he scum.
make something that i can actually digest.

vecna's said you have a bad history of reading him in the past, is that true? or no?

I am not stopping posting when my scumreads aren't. That is how I almost lost the Maxous lynch.

I already did that for the first five pages.

I am not doing that for the entire game it would be a novel and a townread of mine would be mislynched by the time I was done.

Vecna and you have changed a lot of your reads.
Which is a thing that proper town players do Mathblade.

If you have the exact same reads since day1 - youre really really doing something totally wrong.
Reads change yes but not that drastically.

Not very creative.

Ill have to tell you though, I did want to make the tracker see that Nancy visited Santa Clause, but Nancy told me that was an illegal order, since Santa clause is not a player in our game.

So mean.
Sometimes truth hurts.

Why would nancy tell you visiting Santa Claus is illegal. It is no more than picking a dead player which I can't do.

So here is a hint you're full of shit because I can't target PV. You can't target Sondam.

@Venca

I visited Nancy, and stated that if she got visited by the TRACKER (Petra) wonder, it would show her as visiting ME. But the tracker wonder died with Sondamn, so there is no way my action couldve changed anything.

I did confirm with the GM it would still count as a visit however - so if Nancy had built Redfort as I had hoped it wouldve served as a nice check whether Creature really did RB me.

.....now tell me if that sounds like a scum motivated action, Mathblade.....

Or a dastardly clever plan to determine whether creature is lying to us. :good:

So you can't do that as the wonder doesn't exist as it is on a dead player so the wonder doesn't exist.

Moderator: Do you allow defunct actions like targeting/interacting/selecting of dead players possessions? This is assuming the wonder doesn't call that out.

In civ games when a civ dies the wonder dies (except civ 6 sometimes) so can Hagia Sophia target a dead wonder as that wonder doesn't exist? Similar to how I can't target PV.

I never said anything about targeting dead players. I merely stated if the tracker wonder were to be used on nancy last night, and I wasnt roleblocked, my wonder wouldve done something.

you can ask the gm if my wonder can be used to fake results from wonders that are no longer in play though. :good:
Yes because the player has the wonder you'd need to target the player with the wonder so I feel that isn't permissible or nothing should happen. However I have the question in bold and I think you are full of shit.

And I respect you as a person but do not townread you.

This question is... difficult to answer.

Hagia Sophia does not
target
a wonder, it specifies one as part of the action submission. It
targets
a player, one who must be alive.
Then the wonder has to exist right...Player is dead wonder doesn't exist? Aka no effect

Not when you are scum nope. I don't see a good reason. I see a big elaborate plea to fuck with us and get townread and taking a wonder that you never should have acted with the red fort bit is insane and ridiculous. There comes a point when if you lie a bunch or create such an elaborate story of what you do I go with what is simple. You lied.

I am running into the same problem as in backstabbers

The lies are so ridiculous I just can't believe them.

I had proof RC wasn't PGO and on other sites that is a guilty.
I have proof you are asking insane questions and very likely have a shitfest wonder.

The likely answer is you are scum Vecna especially combined with play and VCA.

You aren't qualified to determine the quality of anyone's scumhunting. You are simply not that good of a player and that's a fact.

Have you forgotten that you thought scum were literally the 3 remaining town in Titus's game? Did you learn nothing from that?
I learned that people are antitown fucks sometimes and I have no regrets over Titus's game. None. I go to any other site and you would be policy lynched. That game is not a good example.

I am qualified. Everyone makes mistakes and to doubt I can't play mafia means I don't play.

Doubting myself in LYLO lost WWE Raw when I was called insane for scumreading A50.

I am unorthodox yes. But bad. No.

I was right on Maxous.

The times I am right we lost because I gave up. The times we lost when I was wrong it was because I didn't understand what was being said and people were again antitown players.

The argument to be made if you wish to make it is I don't know when to shut up but considering shutting up when Titus forced it cost us multiple Town lynches I will always fight.

Going for broke = poker term

If you split your bet (blackjack term) you aren't going for broke

Dave can't pick Creature or Maxous that is illegal in the wording of the wonder.

He would use a parity read to figure out who he wasn't sure of.

While Dave is pretty quiet still sure of a lot of reads so it really is a narrow list.

Hell of a move for scum, and it's a really nice theory that nancy would take Red Fort but quite a stretch -- the kind that scum take.

Pedit: there were plenty of "suggestions" on who to target, and in fact at least one threat in that regard.
It was a stretch, but one that did no harm. It was a zero loss if it didnt work, but a lot to gain if it did work for town.

Not urgent enough to stop me from playing civ.

My ISO has stuff in it.

How is there a better vig that will fucking work no matter what?

No one is shooting you or any Town at this point.
I should be dead tonight if Town gets the vig if we lynch successfully. Period. Then remaining town gets a cop to work with as I am not announcing my target so it can't be messed with. As I would be dead, I can't be roleblocked so the only thing that could fuck with me is if I out Wifom Vecna.

If we mislynch then Town should wait a day to see if we are in true LyLO.

FYI whoever has the D4 wonder really fucked up by not putting me in on it. I would have loved someone to sync with but right now I feel right, alone, personally attacked, and no real way to validate anything and fighting a largely upstream battle as I feel scum are mostly the ones posting.

Like if stop all actions can stop all actions of the dead I would be sad.

Moderator: Assume player X has Stonehenge. Player Y performs stop all actions on player X. Would that stop the flip?

In post 766, Nero Cain wrote:My scumread on Creature is basically like several of his posts are this sort of confused "I don't know whats going on" and that just seems p fake to me. Though Titus' "Nero ignored the Max wagon" "He wasn't even a wagon when I voted Creature." "Welll...welll...you are ignoring it now!" Games with Titus would be a lot less frustrating if she'd just take being proven wrong in stride instead of trying to argue that she's right all the time.
You have several posts like this in your ISO.

Creature is now confTown.

How can you maintain the "I am so right trope" when there are several instances of you being flat out wrong?

Pedit: Wonders are likely more powerful as times age but you and LUV have the same tripe.

We are close to LyLO. You both plot out the same bullshit lies. It is the same thing in slingers. How do you expect me to townread you when it is so similar?
