This game is a large themed game modded by Phate and his co-mod, Light-kun. Light-kun is also the co-creator of the setup. farside22 will be backup-modding. This game is the first of the Phables series. The common traits specific to this series are as follows.
- They'll all highlight a specific mechanic in mafia that I feel hasn't been fully explored. In the case of Death Note Mafia, the highlighted mechanic is night communication as a primary source of information.
- They'll all be themed games, with a theme I feel is appropriate to the mechanic.
- They'll all be very experimental. Although I will try to prevent it, balance and/or enjoyability could suffer as a result.
- No player with less than two completed games will be allowed to play.
