Help me devise a cool signature

I'm envious of all the people on this board with cool signatures, but I can't think of one for myself. (You may have seen me try some lame ones.)

So I thought that the obvious solution would be to ask for help. Any suggestions?

I only ever use my signature to find my posts in a certain thread.
Ctrl-F -> "Refuse or worthless matter." and WHAM, another screenful of scumhunting brilliance.

Since i couldn't think of anything good as well, i just used the dictionary meaning of scum.
Since i just knew you were all just dying to know what inspired my sig, yaknow...

Shelper i think sigs are useless at finding posts, avatars are far more usefull that is why i hate it so much when someone changes theirs, if the picture changes then it might as well be a different person.

May I sugest no signature? Use one if you have something to share... but it's not a requirement.

Very easy solution. Just disable signatures in your profile as I do and you won't be bothered by cool sigs anymore.

For myself, I picked one that was a quote from my screenname/avatar, so it was easy.

Does "Mr Stoofer" mean anything to you? Start there.

ah, but you can't search for avatars, you have to manually scroll down the entire page until you see the one you're looking for.

how do you search for sigs. I thought that you were talking about just flicking through

Ctrl - F, or edit -> find pops up a search window that will jump to the first instance it sees the inputted text. In our case, a sig.

Put a block of statistics in your sig.

The best thing to use on a sig is Song Lyrics or the Flavor Text on the bottom of a few good MtG cards. But, I don't play MtG anymore (and have sold my cards a few years ago), so I personally stick to the lyrics.

Ctrl-F or Edit->Find, depending on the browser, always just searches whatever is loaded on your screen. If you can manage to get the entire thread loaded with the

(All)

link, you can search an entire thread, otherwise it's just that page.

It's a browser feature, not a mafiascum.net feature...I'm pretty sure the Search page ignores signatures.
