I'm trying to parse what you're asking here - I don't think there's been an argument given as to how I'd figure out the SK as a goon? I just checked, and maxous never voted or mentioned or suspected hez, so that's not possible, so what then? daytalk isn't standard in most minis and with a 6 person scumteam would probably be overpowered. I don't know why I'm trying to think of possibilities that could make me scum here, but i'm not sure how to answer what you are asking.

Role Cop - would have had the information.

Scum can talk at night. Not sure why Maxwell thinks day talk is relevant. Maxous would have found out roles at night and then passed it on. For instance why was DV killed. They knew he was the JOAT that's why.

Town is already really over powered. Cop, JOAT - with likely investigation.

No evidence that Hezlucky was immune to investigations.


Additionally, why does Maxwell only consider Maxous scum Day 7 not me. Which he should.

Say Maxous finds out he's the SK night 4/5 he's not going to come out the next day and claim it is he. He may push against him or let someone else do that namely SC. Then speak about it at night and cook up this FBI plan.

I will do some research today on how common FBI Agents are in games with SK's.

Maxwell was more in need of a bump than Maxous, so such a tactic would be effective.

If I was scummier than him why not just have him claim it? I'm a poor scum player, have a losing record as scum and would have a big disadvantage from having replaced in instead of having been in the game from the start.

I admit that your theory is plausible, but I can't do anything about it. So forget the claim, then. It doesn't clear me (although I thought it did and it took this long for any sort of theory on how it could be done as scum) so look at everything else. It doesn't change code holding out on scum lynches in lategame hoping for an alternate wagon. It doesn't change that I've tried to be logical in my reasoning and honest in my actions so read that. Look at the big picture.

Hey, this is a pretty good end-game. Whoever is scum has done a decent job, or alternatively, whoever is Town plus me and Psyche haven't. I vote for the first option.

maxwell's play on the Day of Maxous' lynch makes most sense to me as Town oriented. The general run of thought was 5 v 1, so a mislynch doesn't hurt. Thus, his willingness to just go along with lynching Maxous.

The reality of 4 v 2, putting scum so close to a win, makes Code_X's reluctance to vote Maxous seem more scum oriented. Even when he did vote Maxous, it wasn't compelling, more like a forced vote to not stem momentum.

Fine with this. it's one or the other, interactions with LLD point a little more toward Maxous.

There were other posts between those, but that's the general sequence. Given what we now know were the circumstances, I just can't see where maxwell would just automatically throw away any chance of a win right then and there.

Here's the thing.

The biggest clue to this lylo is Benmage. I know I keep bleating on about it but there is no reason on earth that I would kill someone who thought I was town ahead of someone who said Maxwell was scum numerous times. And ahead of two innocents here I'll leave you a few quotes.

If your basing the final vote on his claim or as DLG says the fact I supposedly knew it was 4-2 which I didn't - I just wasn't quick to assume the last scum was Maxous. Because frankly I thought it was between him and Maxwell. A townie I feel in Maxwell's shoes if he thought it was 5-1 (~which DLG seems to think he is) would have considered that perhaps I was the scum ahead of Maxous. But, he doesn't, he just votes his buddy knowing it will get him town cred today. Too much bloody town cred I must add.........

not sure what to make of benmage at this point, the post people are voting him for is bad but comes across as somewhat more condescending and sarcastic than I think people are reading it. His defense also looks bad to me but the stangercoug/code_x/fakegod votes on his wagon give me pause.
