It's finally summer! Let's go to the pool -- the lake -- the beach and have a great time!

Oh, if only you could...but the indoor months of autumn, winter, and spring have changed your rosy glow to a translucent shimmer. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for those dang tanned ones -- those populars who maintain an orangey hue year-round and will point and snicker openly if you dare to show more than 20% of your untanned skin at a time. If only you could get enough of your snow-white friends together to drive them away from the beach chairs they inhabit...then summer might be bearable. Hey -- that doesn't sound like a half-bad plan!

Note: in view of the number of players, we will start in the day phase, although most larger games start with a night. The mafia will be allowed to communicate pre-game, though no role will submit choices until Day 1 is over.

Possible roles:

You are the tanned ones (mafia)

. You may only talk with each other during the game's "night," not during the "day." You let me know before the night's deadline who will choose to mock mercilessly for their pasty skin tone until they leave town in humiliation. You win the game when all the non-tanned are gone.

You are a formerly tanned one (cop)

to be a tanned one...but then then came that unfortunate outbreak of bacne, which resulted in worry about slathering baby oil all over yourself...which, in turn, caused your skin shade to fade from cocoa to skim milk. Rejection from your "friends" was immediate. You, having been golden once yourself, have the unique ability to identify the cliquish. Every "night" before the deadline you send me a PM with a name of your choice, and I will let you know whether that player is a tanned one or not. You are not allowed to communicate with any of the other players outside the thread. You win the game when the tanned ones are gone.

You are the lifeguard (doctor)

. Every "night" before the deadline you send me a PM with a name of your choice, and that player will be rescued from humiliation if the tanned ones shun. You cannot rescue yourself.
