Now onto a handful of thigns that are relevant, because I ended up here.
1. I didn't *TECHNICALLY* in for a newbie game, but I am a strong believer someone's point I read somewhere that of any of the games on-site were replacements are bad, Newbie games are the worst. We don't want to teach our new members it's okay to drop a commitment. So I am not replacing. out. I can work with it, I just wasn't expecting it. Whatevs. I CAN LIVE

VOTE: RachMarie It's rude to vote for people before they know they are even in line to play a game! >:( Not Nice! But for real, to answer this very valid point, This game started at 4AM localtime for me. I'm in the Navy, and don't often stay up until 4AM anymore, nor do I wake up at 4am unless necessary. TODAY is an even worse day for this game to have started at 4AM. At 4AM this morning, I was DDG 107 USS Gravely's In-Port Equipment Monitor Roving Watchstander. Which essentially means I get to walk all over this forsaken hunk of metal, up and down ladders 50 feet tall, etc. taking reading on pieces of equipment and generally hating my life for the 5 hours I was the IEM. That was from 1:30 AM till 6:30 AM. at 6:30 AM, my workday started. I've been working all day since then (it's 15:20 or 3:20PM now), and I'm not sure how many of you have ever tried to use a cellphone inside of newer movie theaters, but you often get limited to no service right? Well on-board any US Naval Ship, magnify that X10. we have multiple-inch thick steel plates between us and the Ocean (the Hull), as well as however many numbers of steel plates (the bulkheads or walls) between you and the hull that interfere with cell reception. I don't get any. None. While I am at work. I haven't turned on my phone or been online since I went to bed Tuesday night at 11PM.
3. This relates to my activity and why I signed up as a Hydra (for newbies, this is an account with two "heads" or players with login access to the account playing together as a single player-slot. I like to think of Hydras as a lover-mason team of dubious alignment) in Timeshift Mafia which I thought was the only game I was signing up for. Being in the Navy, we get things called Duty Days. On a ship, someone ALWAYS has to be on watch for a number of watch stations. 24/7. Weekends. Nights. Christmas. EVERYTHING. To make life fair, ships generally work in what is called a 6 Section Duty Rotation. the ship is evenly divided into 6 groups, each of which takes a 24-hour Duty Day, then it rotates, so you get 5 normal days and then a Duty Day. On a Duty Day, I can't play. Because Duty Days END at the BEGINNING of the next work day, this effectively eliminates a roughly 40-hour period during which it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to play.

*48 hours (2 days) without posting will equal a prod. If you are prodded more than 3 times you will be replaced.
I might often end up toeing this line due to real life commitments. When I am able, I will try to be as active as possible, if you read my past meta and games, I am a very vocal player, who tries to stay extremely active. I intend to do so as well for this game, but within the constraints of my real life commitments.
4. This is a good/bad mix. I'm taking leave at the beginning of June to go spend a week with my girlfriend. this means a week with unfettered access to the internet, but also a week where my primary goal is to focus on something distinctly other than this game. So I'll probably be active more consistently, but less substance during said time frame.
