Disaster looms over Duckburg - in forms old and new.
It's up to you, the loyal citizens, to prevent and ungodly takeover.
After all, Scrooge McDuck would be the least of all evils, right?
RIGHT?

Nights will last around 72 hours or so. If night choices come in earlier, it will dawn earlier.
Days will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose two deadlines. The first may be rescinded or extended. The second will be final and binding.
Votes must be in
bold
. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
Unvoting is required and make sure your unvotes are bold.
Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded.
You may
vote: no lynch
– majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death. Once a player votes no lynch, it will be taken that he has gone home and may not post again that day unless he gets half a majority of votes required to lynch him.
At deadline, half majority or more will constitute a lynch. First come, first served. Less than half majority = no lynch. Endgame (6 players or less) will require fully majority regardless of deadline.
The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
If, for whatever reason, the thread is locked and awaiting a death scene, please do not start conversation until night is officially declared.
Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.
Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts
Don’t quote any messages from me. You are liable to get mod-killed if you do.
If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me I will make a choice for you, the first time - which might result you being quite unhappy. From the second instance onwards, it will be forfeit.
If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
I should post a vote count, ever so often, maybe every page or every alternate one. Please feel free to request one should you deem it necessary.
If you have any questions, you can pm me or ask in the thread. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, and with the best explanation that I can. You can also pm me if you want to tell someone about your day, or you thought something another player wrote was funny, or just to say hi.
I am always right, but not always accurate. If I've made a mistake, please tell my by email as soon as possible. If you try to notify me in thread, I'll have to to edit your post and you will most likely be mod-killed.
Most importantly...this is a game and we're here to have fun. Do your part.
Isn't Launchpad supposed to be on Scrooge's side ? Aren't we trying to rob Scrooge ?

Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.
I'm not familiar with the flavour at all, but the impression I get from the opening post is that we're not meant to know whether Scrooge McDuck is our enemy.

Hinting some sort of criminal role?

I'm guessing that there are three factions. Two trying to steal from Scrooge, and one protecting scrooge. Among the two trying to steal from Scrooge, one is the mafia, and the other wins with the town. No SK. The pro-town group who tries to steal from Scrooge is possibly mason.
The flavor really has me confused. What are your thoughts on this ?

I don't know. I've never heard of duckburg before, and my role PM does not help me understand. I'll read the wiki once I get home from class to get to know the cast.

My thoughts are that we shouldn't be speculating about the setup. There's no way we're going to be able to figure it out today and we shouldn't try to.
