My reads were horrible at the first half of the game, and as soon as I started to figure it all out SirCakes decided to shut me up. (3 time in a row he draws scum vs town-me).

I should work on my skill of addressing the masses though. I fear I'm not too convincing even when I'm right. I should've pressed for a SC lynch on D3 (or a Shinobi lynch for that matter).

Yeah town kind of devoured itself here. Especially the BlackStar lynch.

Well, the heuristically_alone wagon was an accident.
The BlackStar wagon was a strategic lynch. I didn't like it, but I understood it.
Anen was a horrible lynch though. The only difference between the Anen lynch and the game-ending Kuroi lynch was the extra town player (Suzune) on it; all three scum were on both the D3 and D4 wagons.

And with no subtlety, either.

hell, i even LED the wagons D2 and D3... i almost led D4 too, but I was gonna wait 1 more day. hahaha

toog just .. um... sped up my decision making.

I wasn't even trying to hide it with the Anen hammer. That was purely a survival thing since I saw votes starting to come around to me and quick hammering a mislynch then getting lynched is preferable to just getting lynched.

I actually missed Egg's claim somehow lol. He just seemed like the obvious kill given his scumreads and he was cop cleared.

but for real though, what was i gonna do, counter-claim, and then when he flips town or waffles out of it, play the butthurt seraph knight for 4 more days? nah... i don't like claiming until i'm pretty sure i know what i'm gonna be able to claim believably, plus i didn't wanna be a part of any town planning, etc. too much info given away too early. claiming like i did was the safe play.

My other mistake was believing in "too scummy to be scum" on Zakk.

I should have led the charge on him right away.

Just like anyone else, sometimes my reads are right and sometimes they aren't. And I'm just as guilty of lynching Blackstar as anyone else on the wagon.

Zakk carried at the end there doubt sowing Toog and Kuroi. Doubt we could have done that without him.

I'm honestly not sorry for my vote. There was absolutely no way in hell that Suzune, Ranger, Kuroi, and I were ever going to get on the same page. I knew I was right on at least 2/3rds of the scum team, but Kuroi and Suzune were far too passive, which meant that even if we voted to lynch Cakez (my first choice), it was so obvious that at least one of zakk or Shinobi would have simply bussed and then tomorrow we would have been in the exact same position.

zakk was obviously trying to get enough paranoia to support my lynch, and it was working with Suzune, I just figured zakk was being intentionally obtuse about the read though. Kuroi literally not understanding anything going on in the game didn't help things in the slightest either.

this was pretty deliberately fabricated

it felt like a pretty uphill battle at the point where we had obvtown egg confirmed town by toogeloo (who we thought would be an easy mislynch) who was now off-limits for mislynch because of his claim, and kuroi came out looking hella believable with his obtuseness responding to toogeloo's hints

we knew we had to kill egg either way, but i wanted him dead regardless of results, just for his playstyle alone. he could easily have swayed town to push a very legitimately constructed lynch wagon through on any of us, and that was quite scary. if toog had cleared someone else, we still would have killed egg first. i wouldn't have allowed anything else

and then, we knew we had to either:

1a) kill off toogeloo and block him so that no more results would get out (completely necessary because his next two targets were me and sircakez)
or,
1b) leave both kuroi and toogeloo alive, and block toog into oblivion (turns out this worked just as planned, thank the maker)

AT THE SAME TIME AS

2) cast doubt on kuroi in any way possible, and not let him and toogeloo begin to trust each other due to their mutual knowledge of toogeloo's ability

AT THE SAME TIME AS (and if that was not enough already)

3) avoid killing ranger, even though i'm sure all of us would have loved to at some point or another.

so yea this was NOT as easy as it may have seemed.

i feel like this was a victory i had to work for, and we all had to gambit a certain amount to get here.
