Cakez townplay and scumplay somewhat distinct.
Few tells, but Ranger only ever votes me when she's town. This doesn't feel like her scum play.

I think I mentioned it at the beginning of the game, but there's nothing more I hate than IC and VT, this has been well documented over the years, and I flaked every game I ever played as an IC. It's impossible to scumhunt as an IC.

I'm sure someone is going to ask at some point - I discarded IC for the same reason as how I caught Titus as scum instantly in Mafiaception. Fate would understand the intent behind my discard, but someone lolshot their best chance at a mislynch today... now that I'm typing this out it feels like the Fate NK was made to eliminate a mislynch target to focus the lynch attention on the lovers......

I can't imagine we were going to mislynch Fate. I certainly had no intention of voting him, and I think that was probably clear yesterday.

And it seems scumhunting as a Lover (where your survival in the game is dependent, potentially, on other players) would pose similar problems to scumhunting as an IC -- but you've done no scumhunting in this game regardless of your role, so I guess your preference really doesn't play much into it.

Completely wrong. It is impossible to scumhunt as an IC due to your mod-confirmed town status. You'd be better off twiddling your thumbs somewhere. The only purpose an IC serves is to eliminate a target from the lynch pool. As a lover at least if I'm chained to scum then it lowers my chances of getting NK'ed. To be honest, I hate the cards I drew upon reroll which has contributed to my apathy, because I got my werewolf watcher trolled.

As for analyzing why Fate was killed over the lovers, I have the unfortunate reality of having to discern why this is the case, as I'd like to think that neither yourself nor RC/Titus are incompetent players. When dealing with competent players, there is usually more to what appears on the surface. I've never seen your scumgame before, but I know that RC is probably more competent than not considering inherited my Don Corleone, and titus can be devious.

The alternative to killing the lovers would have probably resulted in a massive/RC/Fate LYLO. The viable explanations here are either RC/massive scum felt that the lovers were the easiest mislynch to obtain, or I'm wrong and scum lie within Cakez/Ranger. I'm personally more perplexed why Fate was killed over you, massive.

Anyway, I'm good to lynch in lovers. Titus can sort things out from here.

I prefer town. I mainly play this game to hunt scum and not be scum. You can probably look at my scum games and see that I am way less active in them. I picked my specific role because I didn't want to be Werewolf-aligned and because the best combination of the two remaining cards (Townie, Seer) was Town Seer. My night choices:

1. Radical Rat, not a werewolf. Radical Rat had at least one post trying to direct the Seer, which made me think he didn't want to be checked. Ultimately he didn't, but the Seer part didn't matter.

2. Radiant Moonlight, no result. I decided that "discarding Mafia" was a good criteria for selecting night choices and picked RM because, well, let's face it, I don't normally understand RC's style of play and having a clear there would have been helpful. When there was no night kill, I figured I'd be a prime candidate for lynch (figuring I'd been roleblocked) but it never came, which is when I started piecing together RM's role.

3. Fate, not a werewolf. I was running out of possible candidates and didn't have a good read on Fate.

4. RM, no result. As noted, I was out of choices and was looping back just in case RM decided not to hide.

Ranger is eliminated by our hide last night. Cakey is eliminated barring you culting him.

If I am town, the only scum must be hider immune. Given hiders cannot be targeted, this means ascetic or redirection that never killed me.

I don't think we know. Wiki says "non-Mafia player" but the weak modifier entry says "mafia-aligned or otherwise anti-Town player." I imagine you could ask the mod if it's important. Seems like you believe RM is actually a hider, so are you just looking to see if there's any way I'm scum and just didn't kill him?
