Deep South Vampires (not enough players)

This will be a "Nightless" (thread never locked) version of the mechanics I ran during Lost Boys, with some player-suggested fixes for balance. I believe it can run with as few as 5 players, but I'll take more if they sign up quickly. Would prefer 9...

Initial Roles:

• Vampire Sire
  (Godfather). He can recruit pro-town players to his side by PMing me who he wishes to bite. This will make them a
  Half-Vampire
  , with a variable Win Condition. If they bite someone, they will become Vampires and win with the Sire. If the Sire is killed in any manner before they turn, they revert to their former pro-town role. He may not bite another player until either someone is bitten or dies.
  Players on this side may communicate secretly/telepathically by PMing me messages that I will pass on; they will not know who bit them.
  The Vampires win if they control half the population.
  
  
• 1-2
  Vampire Hunters
  (two-stake Vigilantes). They do not lose their remaining stakes if they are bitten. If they stake a pro-town player, they lose the ability to utilize their second stake.
  Unless bitten, they win with the town.
  
  
• 3-6 Townies.
  Unless bitten, they win with the town.

However many signups I get before mith blows the whistle is what we'll go with. If it's very few, I will cut down to 1 Hunter.
