I mean rand reads would have hit scum 42% of the time on D2 (50% if you consider the soft clear on farside) and 66% on D3, idk if that counts as town having "good reads" really, given that normally hitting scum D2 would need to be above a rand rate of 33% here. Everyone was wrong at one point or another on one important slot or another, and that's why scum outplayed town. Luck has very little to do with it, unless scum weren't aiming at people they thought had late night roses N1 in which case that was bad luck

You can't say town performed poorly when something_smart, firebringer, farside, vecna, me, a whole bunch of players were right about maria/eyestot since day 1.

This game should have been on easy mode.

What I mean by luck is that scum only hit a bulletproof once. We lynched eyestot who was a night 1 gun instead of a night 2 gun like Maria.

If scum had hit just one more bulletproof, or lynched a night 2 gun scum, town would win.

Don made it impossible to lynch eyestot/maria day 1, and impossible to lynch maria day 2, who was the only person we could have prevented from getting their shot off.

Also if you’re a town gun then surely it also doesn’t make sense to stay so quiet that you risk being lynched and being forced to claim/just lynched and not being able to shoot

I don't think ABR fears getting lynched Day 1. at all

or I should say "I don't think abr even imagines he gets mislynched day 1".

or he is scum.Just saying there are a few quiet players in the game. But, but, but, I will play devil's advocate and allow that possibility go for now.

idk I feel like I might be overthinking abr mindset since he isn't posting much to show what he is really thinking and this could all just be he just isn't interested in this game.

But ABR is one of those players I consider in that big egocentric mindsets. And that mindset would definitely go for the whole plan of "well I have a gun, ill lie low so scum don't try to shoot me since I am a strong player, and then I can aim at whoever I find scum"

I mean I would consider that thought process to naturally comes to someone like ABR it makes so much sense that is his approach right now.

ABR, I'll admit I didn't read this game but I feel based on reading the flips and the deaths you likely lost this game, not based off skill, but your ability to work with other players.

If all your townreads scumread MariaR/paragon, that should have been your shot. Given the number of vigs in this setup, getting the best out of town is way more important than being right.

There's a reason you weren't shot this game ABR. I hope you reflect on that, especially given you have read the game.

Your steadfast belief that you tend to be a paragon of scumhunting forgets that it's not all about being right. It's about doing right.
