Honestly I thought this game was a lot more fun because Alisae made these choices. The victory for town would've been a lot more easy if Alisae had declined my invitation but it would not have been as memorable or as thrilling.

I think treating mafia as a game played for fun and memories is better than being super serious about it <3 I am glad we got to have this little dance.

I hope everyone can walk away from the game without any hard feelings because we're all just trying to stay sane in a crazy world <3.

From a social perspective: If you care about the other people in the game, don't do it.
From a gameplay perspective: Someone being fake conftown for 1 or 2 phases isn't going to be the end of the world given that gamestate.

Alisae's choices made it barely winnable for scum and even then it was fairly long odds for us.

You didn't fake claim in a way that led town to believe a scum player was confirmed town. It sure didn't involve late-game mis-eliming a couple of town players who put their hearts into the game, too. And it left the other town player in elo trying to judge between two players who had fake-claimed in a way the converted what was on the way to a town stomp into a potential loss. If Tammy's replacement hadn't been a god tier player I'm not sure it would have been a win.

If e doesn't fakeclaim, then nothing really plays out differently, except that Pooky can't claim a save on Alisae when he no-kills and probably just claims one on Tammy instead. Then the same lylo is reached, but Pooky doesn't have to argue that Alisae did a 1000 IQ no-kill gambit; he can just argue that e tried to mindgame Pooky and shot Tammy. And based on DGB's reasoning, there's a decent chance she buys that.

Like you can at least come up with a plausible scenario where Alisae's play makes sense - like let's say Pooky is town, scum believe the claim, shoot Alisae/Pooky with a NK and you not only give the dethy masons an extra night but you also kill someone inside the POE.

If it doesn't work out you can always take the clothes off later.

She had literally the most important role in the entire game - her staying hidden would mean the dethy does not become a masonry. Instead she tries to signal to us.. Why?

Was she worried if we didn't know she was the traitor we might accidentally nightkill her? In what fantasy world is T-swift on anyone's nightkill list?

like, day 4 in particular when we eliminated cakez out of a dirth of other options. that didnt have to happen at all. if you had retracted your claim that day, the game might have ended then!

Gameplay wise it was fine in the gamestate and town won.
