Yeah, as much as I'd like to play with Notty, I'm very happy I got this thread.

Not really a fan of Spiffeh already trying to bounce.

I think there's a nonzero chance scum-Spiffeh would be terrified of this playerlist.

I mean, look who we have here.

Like, your thread seemed more concerned about utilizing roles by using the turnstile.

Well, Pooky, I'd like you to know that I have like 7 reads that I think are pretty town and you're one of them.

And an additional one that I think could be town but they want to turnstile so may not be a problem.

And another one that may or may not be scum but they also want to turnstile so may not be a problem.

One slot that is/was being townread by players in the other thread but don't understand why based on what I've seen thus far.

And two slots that will probably get yeeted out of this game.

I'm nowhere near caught up in the other thread though.

I didn't understand the early townreads on him.

The dayvig was very meh. Didn't understand why he bothered to do it if he was just going to retract immediately.

I kinda want to launch him over.

I don't think anything he's done is particularly townish.

I also don't feel confidently that he's scum either.

Mostly just want to launch him because I don't feel confident that he's town (and he can fend for himself over there, I guess).

I actually liked 98, especially the part about him wanting to throw unwnd into a pit since Sirius seemed like he felt he was onto something and unwnd was actively derailing it.

107 is just whatever to me. Not sure what you don't like about it though.

I don't understand what you mean for townreading bell by forgetting the number of scum. I do remember you thinking he could be town for maybe not knowing how many scum were in

thread. Unless you meant something else? Also, pretty sure he was being sarcastic so I don't know why you'd townread him for that specifically.

I did know this was a 20-6 setup. Wasn't the purpose of my question. I wanted to know where people where going with the 'cult' thing because to me, that implies 3p vibes and as far as I know this game doesn't have that.

I don't think there's a correlation between her turnstiling and thinking Bell is scum.

She's been asking for a turnstile throughout her entire iso.

Flavor Leaf is missing the rule where if one thread loses all their scum by Night 2 or before, then that entire thread becomes modconfirmed town.

So while yes scum can stack one side, that lone wolf side is at heavy risk of blowing it for their team.

I do want town sent over.

There are several of us in this thread that have asked for Notty because we think he's town. We've also asked for Peta but he doesn't want to come.

Also, we're offering Spiffeh in this trade and considering it's Spiffeh, we have very high demands.

Hammering an elimination in either thread puts the deadline at 48hrs in the other.

So the turnstiles need to happen first.

I don't have full context of the dark timeline, and I don't think I ever will.

However, Titus did a pretty good job outlining some of my concerns with the LLD + Superbowl interactions early on in (aside from the fact I don't think I've ever seen town her throw around early reads like that before). I'm also pretty sure she did the SAME EXACT thing to unwnd regarding treating unwnd as a newbie player in Xenoblade 2, except unwnd has a join date that would've given that impression.

So do we think LLD literally just made the same mistake two games in a row, this time being much more egregiously wrong than the first time? Or is it possible that she was just faking it because she knows we've seen her do it before as town?
In post 1396, Annie Edison wrote:I agree skitter is scum. I don’t have a great meta baseline with LLD but liked her productivity particularly after she played second fiddle in xeno.

I don’t get why Super Bowl and skitter would tag team together to elim me so hard. There’s much easier targets.
In post 1406, Annie Edison wrote:I wonder why scumreads would get stated more on potential people wanting to be sent to this side, this side were evicting scum from.

Hmmmm.
Super tinfoily theory from me, but if our thread is trying to townblock, I think it would make sense for scum to either shut down sending a strong townread to our side or try to send one of their own instead.

Now for Pooky, since HP, and maybe other people, don't understand how I got to my read there.
In post 35, Hench Princesses wrote:the setup confirms that scum have the option of being 3-3 or 4-2. On day 1 I don't think this makes a big difference, but I think this makes a *big difference* in the scenario where we get a scum flip in either game. So towns can do whatever in regard to turnstiles until there's a scum flip, but there should be a coordinated change once we hit scum in one of the games.
In post 52, Hench Princesses wrote:But *we should play* as though scum are dumb and did a 4-2 split. So if we hit scum in one thread, we should *turnstile the scummiest person* after that to the other thread, and then the other thread should stop turnstiling until it is confirmed there are still scum in the thread.
In post 86, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:like we need to discuss how to use the turnstile and commit to this strategy early for it to work. The deadline for it doing anything is N2.
In post 92, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:
In post 89, unwnd wrote:The reason why I'm mostly against mech talk is because I think mech talk is very easy for scum to be involved in. Mech talk is less tonal and takes way less effort than say, having a read on someone. You can sit here and talk about mech all day and make it sound somewhat appealing. I'm fine with it dependent on the read of the individual leading/suggesting it, but that remains a slight struggle
no this mech talk shit is over as soon as we all commit to The Plan. Then its time to try to win this on d2 and get our IC cards.

I just want every1 to be ok with using the turnstile like a launching catapult for people we dont like.
This isn't a dig at HP, I'm just using them for context. Yes, HP was part of the discussion of making the plan, but I'm not really townreading anyone 'because of the plan' in particular. The posts from HP here, however, give me the impression that HP hadn't really thought it out that well, or if they did, not in a way that make me think 'OMG this must definitely have come from town.' Specifically because while yes, they acknowledge we can potentially clear an entire thread, they don't really push it as an option until Day 2 AFTER we get a scumflip, and by then it would be too late, especially if there were either 4 scum in that timeline, or scum went 3-3. If we waited until Day 2, scum could just refuse to turnstile and block us from full-clearing a thread.

Pooky, on the other hand, recognized the urgency of committing to the plan and moving on once we established which thread we were moving forward with. So I gave Pooky (and only Pooky) townpoints for it.

I gave Sirius townpoints for wanting to throw unwnd into a bin.

And I think I gave HP townpoints because I may have been feeling slight townvibes for their general demeanor around the setup spec, which I went back and wanted to reexplore because I saw Peta scumreading them and for whatever reason thought Deacon was too.
In post 108, unwnd wrote:If I were scum and knew that information wouldn't I want you to eject me or agree with this plan in the first place lol
In post 113, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:oh yea cuz when we start slinging over bad guys to the other timeline they r going to greet them with like hawaiian shirts and pom poms right

im not sure how thats a real train of thought in your head.
I also liked this snark from Pooky towards unwnd.

Granted, it's a stale read, but I want to give Pooky the benefit of the doubt that he just can't devote his full attention to this game like we'd want him to. I'd be okay with punting him if we absolutely had to, but I'd like to believe I was right on him the first time, and there are others I would flip before him (Shelly, pisskop, maybe that smiley face avatar thing). I guess I can maybe see A50 being town here, but I'd still rather he just towned it up now.

I liked Titus's predecessor, too. Like I said, I dunno if this is an intentional mischaracterization or not, but I definitely disagree with her characterization of LLD's town game, particularly since I've come back from hiatus. I have 5 completed games since August and LLD-town was in 2 of them. I also watched decent amounts of the Death Curse game in real time.

If you're basing a big chunk of your LLD scumread on Titus's thoughts about LLD-town, I hope you'll give this some thought.

I expressed suspicions on LLD before Titus did.

I'm not an expert on LLD. I'm just suspicious of her play this game.

i def dont think that interaction was staged. also do u do random push then retract fast to create distance with allies with scum? I don't think those work to create distance.
In post 611, superbowl9 wrote:My push wasn't fabricated, but I did have ulterior motives, so you were kinda right . At this point though take a step back and look at this interaction: it's pretty clearly TvT.
On top of superbowl9 trying to set himself as the turnstile vote, yes I do think there is a possibility of this 1v1 being staged here.

>LLD pushes superbowl9
>superbowl9 pushes back
>superbowl9 disengages, throws a laughing emoji saying they're both town so he can just ignore her and potentially set himself up as a good turnstile

Not saying I have to be right about it, but that's how it reads to me.

Superbowl has registered fake multiple times, setting aside the fake fight with LLD. There's also comments where he goes out of his way to defend Skitter (1278), who is the most obvious scum slot in the game. He also has posts like (1363) which almost outright state that he thinks Annie's good posting but we should execute them because they are the top wagon rather than send them over here.
Now, Titus also has this to say about Superbowl. Not really sure about the Skitter stuff, but 1363 is pretty suspect.

Purple Room is the only one that goes by Plurality.

Turnstiles have to be hammered, and the person that is getting turnstiled has to be on the wagon.

The instant one thread hammers an elimination, the deadline to eliminate reduces to 48 hours in the other thread.

irt Brian, I don't get your spec reasoning. Scum could easily have mech reasons for wanting multiple people turnstiled early. We don't know enough about the setup to confirm Brian as town by role. But he's probably not a "double turnstile strongman" so like if he's just a goon at this point he's the lowest priority flip/turnstile. I think I need to re-evaluate him now that I know his reaction to sirius was probably reading weird to me because he was particularly focused on that mechanic, and knowing he has 2 probably is why he disengaged from the conflict there so easily. That being said, I'd like to know what's more townie about him beside all my reasons for seeing scum in him being gone now, he's more just a null/null-town to me.

I kinda feel like I should be higher in your list but you just said you'd iso me later so I'm not gonna push that atm.
Muffin's scum range is massive.

I agree that the mech stuff shouldn't clear me. What conflict did I disengage from?

Why do you think you should be higher? Iirc, you brought up you were also part of the 'town blocking plan discussion' as though that should've been a reason to townread you.

can you give some examples of why you say that about muffin?

Oh I meant the plan to double turnstile scum. You backed away from that and seemed to be okay turnstiling spiffeh. That's the 'conflict' I was referring to.

I personally feel like I've been proactively solving through this entire game. Everyone who knows my main asserts I'm town and everyone who is mech town seems to be thinking I'm on the town side of things. I feel like I am not the hardest solve in this game if you actually can wrap your hair around why I am doing what I'm doing in regard to the gamestate.
Wasn't Muffin a former don corleone? Pretty sure his reputation speaks for itself.

I mostly agreed to turnstile Spiffeh because I felt we already had four chances to yeet scum out of our thread, and activating my ability gives us more breathing room.

My read on you vacillates. If you're so town, what's your read on Peta who's been asserting you're scum?

obviously this is not a super deep iso to analyze and his phone broke but he's been hitting a lot of points that feel really townie to me
I actually got the opposite impression on a lot of these points.

I also haven't seen anything that makes me think 'omg this slot is definitely town' or even 'i think this is something that is unlikely to be scum.'

Its a very meh slot to me overall and I'd launch it.

I wouldn't bet any town points on GX. I don't think he's town. I also don't think he's particularly scummy either, and I find this concerning and probably increases the odds of him being scum just by virtue of there tending to be that one UTR scum skating by.

I kinda feel like GX is a Universal Null Read and I'm the wildcard for townreading him, who else has him as town in your view?
I remember Skittles, and I also remember stating I didn't understand how he could've been townread at the point she did so.

I also feel like if someone is consistently dead null, then that is a red flag.
