well to be fair there were royalty who were killed offscreen. approximate timeline of events:

we are busy preparing food for a wedding.
there are food thieves in our midst!
fail to find a food thief, exile a prepper.
fail to find a food thief, again. exile another prepper.
the food thieves (?) were actually assassins who murdered all of the royals and those who were wed and all of the wedding guests!
the wedding preparation department decides this would be a good time to dance!
but first we must select who among us should dance and also maybe not dance with the two food thieves turned assassins who stuck around
the chefs et al begin dancing amongst themselves and exile an assassin thief, yay!
the prepper who was not dancing disappeared! oh no!
the chefs continue dancing and exile another assassin thief, victoriously winning the royal wedding in which everyone died offscreen.
the chefs look around and realize that since this was, in fact, a victory, that perhaps deposing of their royalty was a good thing afterall

That was an excellent retelling... thank you. However, you did forget the part where "launching" was just a metaphor for ascending to a higher plane of existence. The launched parties were the real winners in that game.

well if it is love letter, it kinda feels like kanna is princess annette but only some of the players know this

the container ship infinity posted is named without land, and is likely relevant in some other way

and morning saying where would kanna keep the hearts after infinity posted the ship

so if alisae's five person neighbourhood is truthful there's a decent chance hopkirk's 51 is the neighbourhood (hopkirk + uncrowned, infinity, alisae, morning tweet).

pooky also said frozen lake in the first poem which made me think of the scene on the frozen lake in alexander nevsky which led me to think about why people are so familiar with eisenstein but not dovzhenko/solntseva which led me to watch parts of aelita queen of mars and earth but if that is relevant it is almost assuredly not for this reason

and the line after was about who knows where love goes when the moon hides which reminds me of a judy collins song which also isn't likely to be relevant

Idk about you but i'm reading Alisae as a 100% cherry-orchard right now.

cherry orchard is a chekhov play about kinda similar themes to the chefs and the royals actually, and last night i was thinking of some of nina's lines from the seagull (silent fishes that swam with the waves, starfish of the drifting seas, creatures invisible to the eye ~in a word, life~ all life, completing the dreary cycle imposed upon it, has died out at last) but i do not remember if that was even connected to this game in some way

so i rewatched eternal sunshine because i thought i may have been unfair to it due to the circumstances by which i first encountered it but i think i still have to mentally rewrite some of it for it to be Okay to me. there's also that stars song/music video that almost has to be an intentional reference to it that also has kinda the same perspective issue. i do quite like trains and grand central and the beach however.

Pooky's a Third Party Lake Freezer, if he targets a Fisherman at night, they will be stranded on a frozen lake, and thus be untargetable by any other actions.
