i think it's elements who saw that i'm leaning luca, and didn't try to convince me why their actions on d2 aren't actually scum, they don't care about that, they just need to keep me on luca.
the way i usually read luca is by whether his posts feel like he's reading my mind and typing it out. there are two big ~events~ that make me doubt town!luca. those are (1) continuously scumreading cook on day 2 and (2) insisting he wouldn't push cook as scum.
however. (1) i think i'm being unfair here. i was one of the loudest proponents for cook being scum on day 1. and his play didn't improve on day 2. but i had my information, i knew there was a town cop in the game, and with shiga dying, i knew it had to be cook. what i'm wondering, if i were a vt, would i still be scumreading cook there? the answer is probably yes. (2) doesn't make sense to me because i would definitely keep pushing town!cook as scum, because i get too much joy from town killing their own power roles, and because "i wouldn't do x as scum" is an excuse that works more often than it should. but i might be an exception rather than the rule here. first, because ranny also said it (2186), and because luca did say to be a more careful scum player in a recent game.
going back to day 1, luca being scum would mean that the day 1 sos wagon was all pure. i find that hard to believe. there was no attention on zuko. luca was prematurely bussing even though there was already a wagon forming on sos that he could've easily joined? risking that with a counterwagon on a scumbuddy that could easily gain traction, as sos's wagon is held on with nothing but weak lollurker fuel??? compared to ele, who ignored zuko on day 1 *completely*, and kept trying to get people on the sos wagon.

Elements probably thought that you would be more likely to change your mind than NPOM, who seems very stubborn based on his opinions in this game alone. Perhaps Elements also thought that Luca!scum wouldn't kill Datisi in that scenario, and thought you might become paranoid when you found you were still alive? Idk I can only speculate, but I believe the main reason was probably NPOM's comments during twilight.

I know you're scum, and based on what NPOM said during twilight I would guess that is the reason. Maybe you had already made up your mind on killing NPOM before that based on you hard-TR'ing him, but I can only guess.
So the 'TMI' line doesn't work when you are already confirmed scum to me - by definition I have all the information I need, and the dots become a lot easier to connect when this is the case.

I don't think there's any point arguing against that I've been generally more scummy than Luca given that I have and I'm hopelessly outmatched in terms of 'analysing' and persuasion so I just have to capitalise on the things that I would never do at scum and Luca's posts that I think show he is scummy the most.
Are you also feeling that Luca's posting has become a lot more direct and focused compared to previous days?
Also all his stuff on self meta is utter garbage due to his break and the fact he's aware of his town meta so can easily recreate it - specifically following the confirmed town.

fun facts. in the recent ~6 months, i kept getting killed early as town and making it to lylo as scum. and at some points i'd think how i'm forgetting how it feels to play lylo as town.
this is a good reminder that i was not missing out.

Just to go over these a bit more, as I'm not sure what else to do right now:
1) I couldn't get my head around Cook being Town after considering the Shig flip. I was convinced he'd be alive day three with another 'blocked' result. It also made no sense to me how Cook seemed to know he wouldn't be blocked Day 3, so I then thought he might fake a result. All of this was from a position of ignorance on my part.
2) I usually don't make such arguments, but it's like when the other person is using such arguments you want to be on a level playing field. I realize it's all wifom BS really.
But I do think as scum I'd have thought long and hard about pushing someone I

to be a cop, because that's not going to be a good look when he flips. I know you said you would as scum, but you must be a more competent, or at least confident, scum player than I am. I've shown games where I can play as scum to some effect, but I don't think I've ever hard-pushed a claimed PR? I have 'tunneled' on LHF as scum before but that's about the extent of it.
But yeah, it's all wifom and if I were scum I'd probably be saying the same thing, so feel free to ignore that line of argument if you want.
