I gotta say though that I'm not sure if that's the right move.

Psychologist doesn't give innos only guilties and isn't that much power as a result AND has a false guilty condition. The vigs are slightly better than one full vig and the bodyguard is nice but i really do not think this is a setup where town needs to be nerfed

That alternative to EV calculations is really interesting actually, I'm surprised that this is the first I can remember hearing of it as an alternative in that way. I think the obvious "flaw" in it is that one would

that in practice scum are biased toward the scummier end of the list but (1) in practice that's probably not even true on MS and (2) it's easy to account for by just adding an element of bias in that way if you want to.

I actually brought it up like years ago and then Mathdino stole it and posted it as it it was his.

I can read myself saying in the past and modelled around this but have no recollection of where this data is from: scum tend towards the middle moreso than the bottom. In 2018-2019 town were also doing fairly well in general and my 'dice' weighting reflects that but would probably need to be changed for the present, but with the number of new roles it would need a lot of work to be made usable for normal games again.

I don't really get the problem, if I'm a N1-2 vig and someone claim a vig ability that rather cleanly avoids 3-deaths-in-one-night-in-a-normal i think i could maybe be a lil sus that there's 2 vigs in a normal but it shouldn't be so sus that n3 vig isn't read for alignment and left in play if towning
