i tried ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
this game reminded me how much i utterly hate scumming in setups where town has known information that they have to hide (i.e. masons)

thanks for mod catboiI will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”~M-

I was pissed about the hammer at the time, because it really is rude to just sub in and immediately hammer when people aren't ready for the day to end. I thought the way you played the rest of the game was fine though, and I'm not going to blacklist you if you don't pull similar stunts in the future. Shouldn't have vented at that moment. In post 3184, Enchant wrote:

I will hammer people, if i consider it winning strategy. Countermeasure is easy: Don't put people at E-1, unless you want them dead. Cmon, it's so easy.
If you dislike, you can of course ban me from your games, but rule "You are not allowed to hammer without getting everyone (included person who get hammered) allowance" is kinda dumb. Majority voted, so i already have allowance from half of game, no?
Ergo, you can't make mechanic like "AFTER HAMMER DAY INSTANTLY ENDS" and then ban people for using it. Well you can, you kinda mod and "God" of your games, but then i don't want to be in your games at first place, because you make mechanic and punish people for using it.
No offenses.-

Oh, so that's problem? Bruh.
Different mods seems to have different look at it, because before mod announced my replace WHEN they send role PM, so i could realise who i am and start posting instantly, or was not against it at first place.
Message "Don't post before i confirm your replace pls" would be also welcoming indeed.
It's indeed problem, and not with you, it's just happens that not always clear what to do after replacing, as mods acts differently. You didn't answer me for long time, and i presumed i already in game and you will never answer me (because again, that's how it was before).
But yeah, i apologise for just jumping with hammer, before announcement. Because i didn't knew about it. Previous post more about overall hammering.-

In post 3190, catboi wrote:"players should not put someone at E-1 becaue I could replace into a game at any time" is not a remotely reasonable position to hold and shows you have absolutely no respect whatsoever for anyone else who plays the game.
If i was mafia, would it be fair game?
And why? It's also rude if yes.-

I don't think this is what catboi is saying. It's not (at least not primarily) about the fact that you posted before the replacement was announced. It's about you hammering one minute after the replacement was announced. In post 3191, Enchant wrote:But yeah, i apologise for just jumping with hammer, before announcement. It's about site meta having norms around things like declaring intent and allowing a claim before hammering, etc. It's okay (arguably, but I think it's fine) to break those norms, by quickhammering. But in this game before you replaced in, no one had any reason to believe any of the players in the game would do that (in fact, the opposite, there was no one in the game likely to quickhammer) and so people might put someone at E-1 e.g. with the intent to force a claim. When you replace in and quickhammer before anyone has a chance to unvote after seeing that you, a quickhammering player, are in the game, it's essentially a cheap shot and kind of rude in a different way from just quickhammering in general.
You can say "I think it was playing to win", but it really doesn't look that way when you do it indiscriminately one minute after replacing in, presumably before reading anything about the game (though maybe you read the game in depth before replacing in - I don't know, but I sort of doubt it). It just looks like abusing a game mechanism to get a cheap laugh. I think I personally would be at least somewhat less miffed at you doing it as scum because there at least there's a clear justification of it being a mislim that you think you can get away with.-

Most mods have a rule for this in the OPIn post 3191, Enchant wrote: Message "Don't post before i confirm your replace pls" would be also welcoming indeed.
I would call this a learning experience for the future
In my first modded game I was compelled to take a mod action that was seen as mod spew, so in future games I included a couple rules, one of which being “take mod action as alignment indicative at your own risk”, basically trying to disincentivize it while not banning it outright.<Embrace The Void>

GG.
Replacements have an unavoidable impact on the game; I've seen plenty of times where scum play around the current playerlist only to get screwed by a strong or unexpected player replacing in. And you can't play around all possible replacements.
In this case, you did in fact mess up my plan; I put Mala to E-1 intending to look like a mason quick-voting the mason soft, expecting that nobody in the game would jump on a quickhammer. It's a problem, but I'm not sure who the burden is on to solve it. Honestly, the answer may be the administration, by punishing replacing out more harshly. But it's a hard problem. It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they're always going to have to do from the very beginning... SIT DOWN AND TALK!-

this is the first thing that comes to mind, too. making replacing out have some sorta cooldown from joining new games at least. or *something*.In post 3197, Something_Smart wrote:Honestly, the answer may be the administration, by punishing replacing out more harshly.I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again.
