Because of the experimental nature of the setup I want to make Datisi's public info suggestion obligatory. Or something in that range.

what do you mean by my public info suggestion? i suggested for scum's info to know about the millers.

the setup in #21 seems fine? i was wondering if it's too weak for scum, since they're up against a cop for much longer than they'll think, and the invest pool is likely going to be so narrow (unless all scum claim miller i guess, which would be very funny and maybe not even that bad of an idea) but that is the only actual power town has going for it, and scum is going to know by claims alone 4/10 townies that aren't TPRs so i guess it's fine.

I'm definitely more concerned it's too strong for town rather than too strong for scum, but rr if youre happy with it as it is we don't have to bikeshed it. There should be a scum path to win in in there.

one idea is to make the backup cop 1-shot or some other gate, so that scum actually gets rewarded for sniping the cop early

I think Backup Cop is prooooobably okay as-is?

I am somewhat worried about scum thinking they've dealt with the Cop already, but if they hit the Cop early enough the new one has to start from scratch anyway, and if they all pick the funniest route and claim Miller, Cop's useless until Town eliminates the Enabler anyway. And since they probably have to claim Miller D1 to get away with that anyway, it on paper shouldn't change much for them in terms of decision making.
