I think the only thing that bothered me about it was us having to bank our points on a specific player kinda made it rly snowbally the way we played

Dann was also being our rock and him getting guiltied suck and kinda blew our momentum/energy I think

But I do think I coulda gave this more attention and might have gotten a Cephir elim and I woulda went after Ali next probably

yah I think Andres deserves massive, massive props for that guilty - it was really clutch and nailed the most townread scum, game would have been much closer if not for his play

imo the only thing that felt kinda unfair to scum is the mason finders being able to conf themselves without actually spending TPR

I like the idea but in practice it worked out as de facto masons which removed two potential miselims

Enchant/Ranger engineering a scenario to help both factions and Andres getting a guilty were players making good mechanics plays, I don't think that is a result of a broken setup. in other worlds someone with Andres role might vig a townie and the 3p isn't as effective at convincing town to help them win, by either picking the wrong player or sending a less convincing or useful message

To answer the question I asked Titus, in terms of investigatives there was
A 2 shot gunsmith, albeit with three false positives in the setup
2 masons who both needed to activate in order to get any benefit, who could do this no earlier than night 2, unless they managed to make it to massclaim. If one of them had flipped before massclaim, then all the utlity would have disappeared instantly.
A loyal vigilante. This is incapable of clearing someone and only worked out because andres took a risky shot that paid off.

All roles had to give scum points in order to fire, in addition to havig the above drawbacks. That reaaally does not seem like too much to me


There were a lot of protectives, but they also ran the risk of overlapping significantly on nights and wasting tpr points, particularly since the roles get more expensive to use. If the protectives ever sccessfully protected someone you'd maybe have some right to complain about the potential swingyness there

Norwee, I probably agree that telling other users to fuck off should probably jeopardize a mafiascum staff position in the general case. I don't know if you are feigning unawareness of my priorities or are unaware of my priorities, but in case you are unaware, I will always choose to jeopardize my staff position to yell at transphobes because I'm a transfem woman more than anything. I have a volunteer job on this site. I quit a real job, that paid really well, to move across the country to Seattle and work in an environment where my gender identity is more consistently respected. I think I mentioned moving in my PM about not joining more games with you, but maybe I just mentioned that my life is going better. I definitely mentioned that your repeated theythemming of me is almost the only misgendering I experience in my life, including my roommate who uses they them for almost every human but me at my request.

Im not particular polite or kid gloved towards other staff members if I think they're being shitty about gender diversity which probably doesnt improve my projected tenure either. That's how my priorities are. I don't want to care, I have to.

That's a lot of activated PRs for 1 kill
You probably want rolecops to know who those PRs are and roleblocks to stop them ruining your day instead
Maybe you even want the strongman kill but that was probably overpriced

when designing the setup, there was a part of me that really, REALLY hoped scum was gonna fakeclaim mason in this game. imagine being scum and getting away with a mason fakeclaim.
