with a sigh, Datisi dropped his weight onto a coffee shop chair. the waitress rolled her eyes when she saw him flop into the char - her boss would probably want her to tell him not to do that, but she wasn't getting paid enough to actually care.

having mumbled his order to the waitress, Datisi crossed his arms on the table and let his head fall on top of them. he could feel the beginnings of a headache coming, and he hoped the caffeine would help. he was trying to think, but the table next to him was making odd noises. they abruptly stopped their conversation, then continued it in hushed whispers he was having trouble making out. though, at one point he thought he heard his own name.

raising his head to look at the table, he first noticed that the group was staring at him. he wasn't in the mood and was going to say some colourful swear words, but he realized he knew three of the people there.

"Ausuka? Ydrasse? RH9? what are you doing here?"

"we're having coffee," said RH9 matter-of-factly. Datisi rolled his eyes, which made Ausuka and Ydrasse giggle.

"yes, i can see that, but why here? and why were you looking at me like that?"

"well," Ydrasse said, a hint of a smile still on her face, "we'd heard that you're having... trouble in your psychology club. and we wanted to see what was going on."

Datisi sighed, he was expecting the news about the club to spread fast. and it made sense that the three of them would be interested in the club's fate - they were all the club's vice president at some point. all three of them ended up stepping down once they dropped out of psychology and went into different areas.

"and i assume these are your colleagues?" Datisi asked as looked over the rest of the people that were sitting at their table.

"yeah!" Ausuka exclaimed, "once they heard there was trouble in the infamous psychology club, they wanted to come along and watch the show!"

Datisi was taken aback by that comment, and unsuccessfully tried to not show how annoyed it made him. "'the show?' what, you think this is some kind of game!?"

"pretty much! by the way, i never liked that one person in the club..." Ausuka's words were followed by a giggle from the rest of the table. "oh, anyone wanna bet whether the club will survive?"

"whatever," Datisi said as he turned their back to them, putting his earbuds into his ears, and sipped the coffee the waitress had just brought him. the headache was still there.

i am like fairly sure that dann just dannced all over several town players on pages 27-29 and got them all (and the gamestate) going in exactly the directions he wanted them to go

kkfc just feels scummy in isolation but maybe that's cause ive only seen him as scum and he's following similar patterns

could easily still be one or two of titus ranger instead

one nice thing about being in spec is that once i decide someone is town i can just skip their long boring posts

i guess a lot of people do this in game too but i think it's a little rude in that case
