Oh, I totally agree that I slipped up—once Dann went and you and pisskop started to be more suspicious of me, I knew my safety net was slipping and floundered near the end due to how Merlyn and I had put almost all our eggs in that basket.

The Informed slip was actually supposed to be an intentional thing, oddly enough—I was hoping it could make it seem like I had the right theory once gob got eliminated, but in hindsight it just made it seem like I had knowledge I shouldn’t have, yeah.

Almost got away with it in my mind cuz of the way you handled the informed as Town in the game where I was wolf with an informed buddy but the specifics were very different as you were basing that from another players reads as opposed to your own

I fucked up bad getting booted, if I had more time I really think I could've got off there. But outside of that I'm not sure we would've won, the game was tight.

I would agree that the set-up was a little town-sided, but it felt like a slight uphill battle and not unwinnable or anything (personally, I kind of liked the challenge because it made every successful miselim truly exhilarating). Honestly, up until Titus took out Dann I was thinking we had about a 2/3 chance of winning, which felt awesome!

If you're giving an honest effort it is never your fault for being miseliminated. Over time you'll learn methods to better communicate towniness to people but at the end of the day it's always a skill issue of your town voters when you get miskilled more than not. Miseliminations are often the product of people taking shortcuts in their reads when it's town led.

Best thing to do is focus on accuracy and presentation of reads and if you're more into being active, extracting tells from other players - focusing on towntelling is a bit of a trap, and don't let anyone tell you you played "scummy" because that isn't a thing - townies can't be scummy unless they're gamethrowing.

And yes it only sees it as 'Informed' without the information, similar to how it just flips as informed without the information

So, is it normal for informed flips to not disclose what they are informed of?

Some games flip with or without a rolecard attatched. Would the 'informed' portion of the card get redacted similar to any link to a mafpt?

when it flips the role name is like 'Mafia Informed', rather than 'Mafia Informed of a cop existing' or something - that's what I was referring to because it's relevant to what the rolecop gets. The role name is just 'informed'

but also yeah mods are supposed to redact that information if they post the role PM.

Well we can if deliberate. I was deliberately anti-town in not giving a damn about others because I knew I'd be limmed.
