At this point I don't intend on really trying to illicit responses or look for associations. I agree with and want to go along with Kyouko's plan which hinges on not giving Smugglers more information about who the TD or PA are. Delaying the day and smuggler hunting just gives more time for the smugglers to sus it out.

Hu Tao was a deviation because she was refusing to be explicit about her shipment which was something I was requesting. In the end I realized it didn't really matter if one person refuses, if she doesn't follow the plan and it becomes obvious from the inspection she just hurts herself and if she's a merchant that doesn't follow the plan, she's throwing. Everyone else went along with it, so the plan still works.

If we follow the plan we are nearly guaranteed to hit a smuggler tomorrow and make them guess.

I actually agree with Hu that Cele looks scummier lately. 291 feels very much like a "don't rock the boat" type post

and he hasn't taken many harder stances this game.

Taking stances makes it easier to find the TD, so they shouldn't start being taken until D2 if and only if no tea is found, because finding tea on D2 is a mechanical scum-kill, which leads to a town win if and only if scum can't guess who the TD is. If we ML a merchant other than Kyouko, it helps scum more easily POE the PRs, since they can assume Kyouko is not a PR.
If we ML a PR, we either lose outright or ruin the plan.

There are good reasons to lim Kyouko even if you think she's towny.
