so in 120 you replied "okay sure" to ausuka's reasons for voting you. i endorsed that reasoning and it was sort of off to the races after that
my q: did you think ausuka's critique of your vote was fair?-

I also don't really like N2 watcher as a claim
I mean there's no reason that couldn't be a real role it's just very convenient for mafia to not have to claim any results until eloNo matter what happens, I'll be right there with you.-

this is something i drafted when i was first excited about ausuka's 115:
i think this is the best reason to vote anyone shared itt so farIn post 115, Ausuka wrote: VOTE: Sircakez
I do not like the pivot in answering my question from "using a lot of words to say not much" to "the motivation for attacking votes on them"
I just struggle to believe this push in general, i find Naerys and Klick's approach of just saying "yeah we do not want to play a game with this person" to be more natural and real
I also think cakez's 121/122 shows little interest in interpreting/sorting the slot, which creates an inconsistency with his 108/109/113.
Of course other slots on the wagon show little interest in sorting, but 108/109/113 nominally care that his vote is landing on scum.
This concern seems to fade by 121. The reply is dismissive and focuses on decept's grating style instead of the basis for cakez's read.
cakez is not really interested in his own read or any commentary on it
Reinforces my agreement w ausuka that maybe cakez just wanted to be the one on the wagon with reasons for his vote.-

I thought ausukas argument that my interactions with Deus looked weird made sense, because it was weird because I had no fucking idea what to do with that player. I would hope reads have progressed past that point now though, that was a while agoIn post 375, Psyche wrote: so in 120 you replied "okay sure" to ausuka's reasons for voting you. i endorsed that reasoning and it was sort of off to the races after that

people talking about n2 watcher being a bad claim - like yes no shit. Why would I claim this as scum? So many better optionsBrian Skies - "I just wanna say Cakez is an evil mod and this is an evil setup."

there are holes in this reasoning though that i sort of wanted to reason though before making such a postIn post 378, Psyche wrote: this is something i drafted when i was first excited about ausuka's 115:

Reinforces my agreement w ausuka that maybe cakez just wanted to be the one on the wagon with reasons for his vote.
for example, the apparent contradiction could have been explained as "cakez feels he has already sorted the slot in 121/122" or "he's run out of a previously non-empty pool of patience for deus by 121/122"
the first excuse is easy to discount because "uses a lot of words to say not much" and "attacks the votes on him" can't credibly amount to a confident read on a slot
but we can conceive of both of these working together to produce those posts. at the time i decided it was still unlikely on balance.-

i keep getting myself into these moats where i make transitioning to the next step requires too much activation energy. i should have just posted the incomplete thought. maybe it would've helped sustain the steady back and forth that's been missing from this thread.
iirc the reason i didn't is because i have this idea that if i don't make the case perfectly the first time then my push is bound to fail. ive had a couple games a while back that felt like they went that way. i need to let that line of worrying go, find other levers for improving persuasion rates.-

But then, I guess it wouldn't be beneficial to do something that might cause more claims to come out 9 hours before the deadline.

N2 watcher is the type of claim that comes from town more often than scum-

It's not powerful enough to make people be super afraid of hammering, and the level of complexity feels about right.-

9 hours until deadline
VOTE: Robert, this is the most viable counterwagon to Cakez and while I'm not convinced that Robert is scum, my vote is more useful here than on Gypyx-

Well. N2 watcher means that a player should leave for 2 full days and nights to report on D3 be helpful to the town, yes? When there are potentially 3 towns and 2 scums, so an ELo?-

So, the set up should be such that a loss of this player by D3 does not make town lose the game? And even if the player if lost by then, it should be counterbalanced by some other town PRs?
