He got busted in the first page as an alt.

That's the only negative I can say iirc.

Classical newb. 'Doesn't post much or often, but at least seems to have a working brain (always a plus, and the same thing can't be said about a good number of others).

Very good newbie. Doesn't have fear to discuss with an IC, but sometimes argues more than the necessary.

I'm sorry to have to say this, but there is certainly a lot of room for improvement in your play. You post reasonably often, but you sometimes don't seem to completely grasp the situation you're in and this can sometimes make you look scummy, leading to bad-quality posts, confusing and slippery defenses. I certainly do think that the more you play, the more you will grow though, so don't take this comment as an insult or a polite way of saying 'above player sucks at mafia'. I am really not in the position to say that myself, I'm fully aware that I'm no A-class player either. I'm curious to see your play in a few months and I won't be surprised if it has improved. Good luck!

Anyway, once you catch on that some of his anti-town tells are signs of him being town, then it's smooth sailing from there.

As I recall, looked quite scummy in AA Mafia and seemed like you were giving up, but I've seen a bit of your play since, and it looks like you've improved quite a bit since then. Might want to look at going slightly more in-depth.

Xyl - I hope you're not taking Khelv's game, and associating that with my play in general.

I played with SensFan in ehobanohar. His tactic as cow scum of shooting early and then hanging around to force town or other scum to waste a bullet on him was a sensible one, foiled only by his forgetting to post in time to avoid modkill.

And choosing to shoot one of his cow scum-buddies was an erm, interesting decision.

He can be funny given the right post ristriction. And a game breaking strategist given the right situation. Descent town scumhunter in general aswell. I am yet to see his scum play but I've had no reason to suspect him whenever he was town. He doesn't act stupid or anti-town, he is and comes off as pro-town which is good for the town as a whole because that way they got less guys to worry about. Town as a whole can focus on and catch the real scum with less people to suspect.

Seems to have gone through a rash of games he hasn't cared about, or something. His play as scum in that one game was much more intriguing (and fun) than his play as Town obvPowerRole in that other game. Iunno, it seems like you're away a lot and disinterested in the game when you do post. Is that intentional? :v

imaginality was obv obv town and pretty good in ehabanohar. I can't really say much more due to the nature of the setup, it didn't really encourage deep analysis :)

Korts had the misfortune to be SK in one of the best towns I've ever seen. I'm just including him here to note that I love his GWTBW avatar and so he doesn't feel left out. =]

Adel thinks scarily like me in many respects. People vastly underestimate her approach of experimenting to see what works and what doesn't, I have found many effective ideas that would probably have been classed insane by most people. She was very difficult to play against for the brief time I was scum against her, mostly because it was hard to figure out what she thought or what she'd do next. The only other game I can remember her in, she smacked EA down hard for bussing ClockworkRuse, and just played really well. So yeah,

roflcopter destroyed all the scum as doc in Crackers. He's really in-your-face, when he's pressuring you, he'd have been a royal pain in the ass if I was scum. Also, he won as SK. So someone I want sharing an alignment with me.

ShadowGirl.. I actually drove a wagon on her and realised she was town about 24 hours later, haha. It was quite literally like SHE'S SCUM SHE'S SCUM OH SHIT SHE'S TOWN. I would say her kinda low content style is nice, but hard to do well, I'd advise her looking up some of VitaminR's games (or MeMe) for inspiration, because I love the guy. Just, the amount of 'content' - whatever that is - is proportional to how good a read people get on you, so one is pretty much always walking a fine line if you keep it trimmed; having said that, I really hate producing content 'just for the sake of it', so I can't disagree with her style at all, just that it is very double-edged by nature. I like her, though, if that wasn't obvious :)

populartajo is notable just for being someone I saw in his first couple of games and then a year later. The improvement to a ridiculous degree is probably the sole reason I'm still promising myself I will IC, it's uplifting to see the shift in someone's play. Also, hi!

JDodge is good at finding scum, and hates walls of text, which makes him awesome. My most vivid memory of him is replacing into a game and realising that he was killed off night 1 by both the mafia and the SK. He has a very effective "short & sweet" style, although sometimes this degenerates into simply lurking if he gets bored. If that doesn't happen, though, he's far better than some people seem to think the word count indicates.

Shanba is basically my inspiration as scum. I don't think I've had anyone else so frequently come so close to giving me "oh, please god, no..." moments. And daytalking as scum with him in Nervous was great, even if the game didn't live up to expectations. Apparently he's good as town as well, I can't wait for the point I see this firsthand, you dirty begger <_<

Xtoxm is surprisingly good at finding scum once you get past the exterior, and generally a good town player as long as people think he's town. Things get stickier if he's scum or if someone's trying to push a lynch on him. I think he has great potential if he meditates on the fact that virtually every experienced player has a game where ___ was obv scum but just wasn't getting lynched. That's as much a part of the game as finding them in the first place; indeed, there are people who play with some degree of success in a way where it's very easy to tell when they're scum, but generally real hard to actually get them lynched. It's valid, and it works, and you just gotta deal with it.

PokerFace CAN SOMEHOW CLAW BACK THE TOWN WIN, EVEN AFTER HE GOT LYNCHED, DAMNIT. Hi. <3

Simenon played extremely well in Traditional, where he was a scum mason in a 5-strong masony and managed to fool pretty much all of them, from what I recall. Even though they figured one of them was probably scum, he endgamed a bunch of people with only a couple left alive. I liked his style throughout.

I have to begger off now, don't feel left out if I've missed you, this was done quickly <_<

(Please do not do PYP3, thank you)

From what I've gleaned from other games, Vi is a pretty strong player overall, and apparently someone who takes a while to get lynched even when he/she (he?) seems to be the one much of the town is going after (from when I was skimming Serum and Steel, it seemed that way, at least). From what I saw of Vi in RealTime Mafia, has a decent gut, but I do remember that I seemed to fool you as scum all right. That said I wa scum under the false impression that there was another scum group, and you both looked town to me and played about as I'd wanted to so as to look like town.

On preview, it would seem that Elmo is up. Unfortunately I've never played with him. Pass judgment there no can do.

Plum is a player I have had the honor to IC for and is a very talented new player who as a great talent of being able to come off as pro-town with not a whole lot of work. She has good instincts and is able to back them up efficiently to get a point accross. I hope she stays around on the site.

llamafluff has a playstyle that almost screams town irrespective of his actual role. However, he second guesses himself just a little bit too much, and I think if he'd be a little more committal he'd be a paragon of scumhunting and town screwing.

'Kidding. f-light is definitely someone who gets emotional when the going gets tough (regardless of alignment), and you can measure the pressure on her fairly accurately by seeing how much of her posts are CAPS LOCKED. As a perhaps-unintended result, if she believes strongly about something, she can polarize the whole Town.

Also, if she looks like she's doing something sketchy, she usually is.~

Vi:

Somewhat angry in his mannerisms seemingly without understanding the true use of anger in a game. Prone to emotional reasoning. Has a hard time handling logic that contradicts his position. Tends towards logical-based deductions while ignoring some of the value of meta.
