I'm voting Bulge because he kinda talked around the Miller claim to do some related role speculation instead and then dropped off. It didn't seem like a sincere attempt to interact with anyone, and I don't get the feeling he cared about what he was talking about. Leaf is more comfortably town now. I had bad vibes around Leaf and Hu Tao and thought he was defending her too hard for this early in the game, but that feels less likely without day talk to collaborate on it.

Bulge is still meh to me. All of his votes have been non-controversial and I don't see any effort to dig into the game. I don't really see why he town reads me either.

Ok now that DEFCON is over, I can say that the reason I don't believe Marci's claim is because she's playing really similarly to that game. She's goofing around but in a way that feels intentional; I saw someone else say it looks like a performance, which I don't think 100% succinctly describes it but is close enough. I think she goofs around regardless of alignment, but it comes across differently to me when she's scum, like she's trying to present herself how people expect her to play.

The other reason I suspect her is a lot more self-centered, but I expected town!Marci to suspect me back if I was wrong here since I usually correctly read her. But I didn't get much of a reaction out of her at all, which makes me think she's treading carefully.

neither here nor there but this is pretty backwards, if there's a wagon on someone without hardly any reasoning then the onus is not on the anti-wagoners to towncase them.

I took that as being loyal.....but also Marci said the message came from someone else.

It sounds like Marci is a scum Neighborizer and has a scum Mailman on her team, because there's absolutely no way for a town Mailman to know what your alignment is without being Loyal themselves. She Neighborized you and claimed to be Loyal, and the scum Mailman tried to collaborate by hinting that you would be confirmed as town.

"Sometimes silence speaks loudly" is just scum trying to tell you to keep quiet about the circumstances of the Mailman and "Loyal hood", so that you don't question what's going on and so the rest of town can't point out the holes in Marci's claim and the message you received.

Leaf is 100% right that scum killed JJH exactly because he would lay out all the flaws in everything scum is trying to pull right now.

Una is arguing that the Mailman can't be Loyal, because if they were it makes no strategic sense to send the message Drew claims to have received. Because there seems to some kind of intention behind the meaning of the message, it can't just be a bad strategic play. So it's more likely that the Mailman is Disloyal since that would make more sense given the context of the message.

Drew is arguing that Una can't be 100% certain that the Mailman isn't Loyal. To be 100% certain would require either a flip or for Una to be informed.
