I've seen Keyser play and I like that he's goofing off a little - and that it doesn't seem to be stopping him from scumhunting. BBT and I are historically opposite alignment, so he's scum. I'll eventually get a read on TTH, once she really gets into the game. Half of the rest of the town appears to be playing a gimmick account.

How about you? What do you think of the three I specifically called out above?

I'm starting to not like Keysor's posts. He seemed to be making good points at first, but now he's just flipping a round and looking for any little thing to nitpick. Bluebloodedtoffee hasn't said much yet, and that's worrisome because people who Barry post are generally people taut you can't trust. The same goes for telltaleheart. TTH has the coolest name ever though.

Plus, you haven't been sheeping, you've been scavenging on scraps - but I don't think that behaviour is alignment indicative.

I'm in another ongoing game with Kain and he has the same playstyle in both of these games. Based on what I've seen from him so far, he's just really reactionary and goes along with what everyone else says. It doesn't necessarily mean that he's scum, but I don't think we should throw tang possibility away either. I don't have a problem with you voting him, I just think it's hypocritical for you to say I was just picking up scraps when you did the exact same thing. If you really think that I'm scavenging for scraps it's because nothing has really happened in this game yet.

I'm not going to be happy if I now have to go on the defensive for no reason. It's tough getting reads in this game because it seems like there are a lot of people posting too much (Keyser Soze, Phoneix, mn) and there's this strange mass clenched feeling this game where everyone seems to be afraid to act normally for some reason.

I can already hear the grumbling from Phoenix that I'm a "lurker," even though I post when I can. If it's that I'm not posting enough for your liking, I try not to clutter the thread with spam. If it's that I'm not moving fast enough, I'll go ahead and tell you that I'm slow and the constipated gamestate is not helping.

If it's that I'm not being transparent enough, that's too bad because I'm not going to tell you everything I'm thinking as I'm thinking it. If it's that you don't like my Kain case, that's also too bad because I like it and that's what I'm pursuing right now.

Somebody wanting mm replaced because of their playstyle is kind of drastic, so it's weird that ocean wind isn't acknowledging that at all. There's no accusatory tone and he isn't acting like masquerade isn't town. So Oceanwind is just trying really hard to get golden robster lynched. What do you think about it?

I agree that the part of Ocean's argument referencing mn isn't very good. I can well imagine a town-Golden Robster calling out someone for requesting a force-replace on mn, whatever GR's read on mn actually is.

However, the part referencing Ocean's read on Masquerade I feel has a bit more meat on it. Golden is at least probing at Masquerade with this post (trying to find out the motivation behind the force-replace request) and I certainly couldn't see any good reason to think Masquerade was town at the time. Pushing GR over this, even if the evidence that Golden previously townread Masquerade was pretty slim, was I imagine partly directed at finding out the reason for GR's town read on Masquerade (which IIRC never did get explained).

This was pretty early in the game, so Ocean reaching a bit for material doesn't seem that scummy to me. I know I've fallen into the trap of "point A is scummy, point B is similar so it must be scummy too (even though point B is much more tenuous)" myself in the past.
