Alright, I have read the first 10 pages.

I like rb, gameplay, pitoli, and Naomi (Expedience) for town. I think Dier and Chuck could be town as well but not as confident on those.

Saru and Martha are null. So is Ryan but he is more on the scummy side of null.

Cass and Golden are current scum reads. I'm hoping people start pressuring either of these slots soon otherwise you should all feel bad.

Expedience is very likely town (based on Naomi's early game posting) and I bet scum are voting him.

I haven't seen any posts from Glitch as of yet so I can't say anything about the leading wagon.

I would be willing to vote Cass or Golden at this point - not really considering anyone else.

I didn't like their entrance post 8. It was making excuses for any bad play. (I found it fascinating that Naomi was picked up on for her post by numerous people and yet everybody ignored Cass doing the exact same thing in a much scummier way.

I didn't like her vote on gameplay 77 and the justification was equally as bad 85. Why exactly is overreacting scummy? Do town not overreact?

In 297 she states four scum reads; three of those are strong/decent town reads for me and that sets off alarm bells. The town reads being rb, gameplay and Dier.

In 304 she leaves the gameplay wagon as it is dying and joins the Dier wagon which very much has the momentum. The timing is horrible.

Add into this that she does very little to make waves and her reads are go-with-the-flow and we have a great candidate for scum.

I haven't read from page 14 or so onwards but I have a question; has Cass taken a single stance that wasn't already backed by the majority of the player-base - because my gut bets she hasn't.

Couple of things Dier off the top of my head; can you point me to where the majority didn't want to lynch Ryan? Because from reading so far it seems everyone has thought Ryan is scum at one point or another. Where did she go against the majority?

Is gameplay under threat of being lynched? Or is he being heavily scum read by the majority of players currently? Or is it a pretty safe read to throw out right now?

OK, so people I'm not lynching today; rb, pitoli, Martha, Dier, Expedience.

The rest are the scum pool I'm working from so far. I think Ryan could be town but wouldn't put my neck on the line for that read.

That leaves; Chuck, Saru, Cass, Golden and gameplay. <--- Scum are in here. PEdit - And Glitch, haven't seen anything from him yet.

I just realised that my reasons for town reading gameplay were super weak and I'm not sure why that was such a strong read. I know I liked his defence against the early case on him but the case was shit and would have been easy to defend against if he were scum anyway. Haven't seen much from him over the last few pages I have read and as such my town read has gone.

This also changes my read on Cass because I didn't like how her reads clashed against my own but they don't so much anymore. It doesn't get a town read, but it significantly reduces my scum read on her.

That's fair enough gameplay, I completely understand the feeling you have on Dier but he usually turns out to be town. He is the towniest-looking-scummiest-player-that-usually-flips-town I have ever come across. I feel like he should be easy to read and yet paranoia always gets the best of me when it comes to him. I guess it comes down to the huge respect I have for his scum game where he completely snowed me in on one game. I don't usually forget things like that.

There is a huge pool of players with whom I am struggling to read and I'm at the end of page 16 - which is weird as fuck and I don't like it. I can see why people would think Ryan is town but some of his posts just show a town thought process that I don't think scum could manipulate. Ryan looks like lynch-bait to me.

I iso-ed expedience and I see what you mean. What I found interesting too is how he defends Ryan all day long, like half of his post are defenses for Ryan. It's weird. Makes me want to lynch Ryan more, just to see what he flips.
And Martha: Expedience starts attacking Martha, but then decides she is completely town and defends her a lot too.
Then he goes after me, but denies my association with Martha - protecting Martha again.
Eventually he goes to Glitch, wich comes off as opportunistic, since glitch is one of rb's pushed for lynches.

Oh, and my own 'town-read' of Martha is based primarily on her soft claim and my benefit of the doubt, to see what she's gonna tell us tomorrow.

I could support an expedience lynch today. Seems better than gameplay or glitch, and about equal to Ryan.

I want to create a town block and work from there.

If myself, gameplay, Pitoli and Expedience could all get on the same page that would be fantastic.

What do you think of ABR's play? You argue that he's playing mildly, but don't actually express any thoughts on whether you think his current play style is scummy or not.

ABR is null at the moment - he hasn't done anything to tip my read one way or the other. I find ABR quite difficult to read and he has fooled me before as scum so I'm going to take my time and keep that read close to my chest as it develops.

You claimed it was "scummy to make a list" with absolutely no justification for that fairly bizarre statement (especially since making a list is pretty much a universal behavior from many people irrespective of alignment). Anyway, the only real way to town-hunt is to make a list of people who look town, and then go after people not on the list.

The main difference between town and scum is that town's #1 priority is to find scum, while scum's #1 priority is not being lynched. When a person starts taking risks, being aggressive, and sticking their necks out to try to find scum, apparently without caring how it makes them look, that's a town tell.
