The case is really bad but the roleplaying is entertaining and feels way too comfortable to be put-on. Who else is scum Porkens?

Blimey this thing took off while I was snoozing. Initial views are thus:

Parama and Spy are townier than the local town mayor if he was not just born there but refused to ever leave the town even to go shopping in the next one over.

Garruk and Pasch on the other hand are currently scummier than the weird stuff you get on the top of your hot chocolate if you leave it sitting too long.

I have 1 completed game with generic but it left an impression. he was scum and the only reason I kept overlooking him was cos his posts were...generic.

2 very different orientations to the game and with my little bit of knowledge I am going to put him in the town category.

I've played 3 or 4 after Red Wedding, both alignments. Generic is town because his filter is literally nonexistent this game. He knows his autism affects his gameplay and when he's scum he tries really, really hard to suppress it (which makes his posts look generic as you say). When he's town he doesn't give two fucks and says what he wants when he wants.

Generic is town, the wagon on him IS bad, but that doesn't necessarily mean its scum driven. Spyrex and PoPP both come off looking good and I'm not really concerned with MoS' wording. PLs are PLs no matter how you slice it.

I'm still not sure where the DV hate is coming from. I haven't gotten any bad vibes from his posts, and his entrance to the game seems genuine. Combine this with the fact that everyone who's posting is either ganging up on him or content to sit on the sidelines, and that leads me to believe he doesn't have anybody in the game (ie scumbuddies) looking out for his well-being. I obviously don't agree with all of his reads, but for the most part they're not bad. You can't step on these ones, at least. My main concern at this point is that he didn't have *anything* at all to say about the two scummiest players in the game (Porkens & EPM). As for SpyreX, a few things really bug me. First of all, after Garruk’s claim, SpyreX said he would be willing to claim if necessary. However, when I (essentially) said it was necessary, he replied I should be murdered. I think he read the tide of opinion and switched his stance accordingly. Many of you have said that SpyreX shouldn’t claim in order to WIFOM the mafia. In a vacuum, I agree. However, with the roleblock, and the NK, I think pinning SpyreX to a claim will be much more valuable to the town in the long run. Finally, again, sure: a million things could have happened last night. However, the scenarios I posited earlier, I maintain, are, by far, the most likely, and, therefore, it is safe for SpyreX to claim. I say that it is important for the town to understand whether SpyreX was involved in the NK or not.

Majiffy flipped watcher, so he saw 50 Shades visit someone. I learned Night 2 that he was a Werewolf. I was trying to get this information across without having to claim. My strategy going into the day was going to try and bait them into admitting their night action. Hence my first post asking them to tell everyone what they were up to. Re: Jiffy they obviously aren't the one doing the night kill or Jiffy would have nailed them to the wall. But maybe I could have gotten them to admit to roleblocking or rolecoping or some other scum action. I was expecting 50 Shades to post like 50 Shades, so I was hoping I could get away with pushing the lynch without having to full claim. I wasn't expecting to have to argue with DV instead.

- T-Bone's timing with the claim does not make a lick of sense as a scum gambit, unless he was trying to take heat off Porkens? I dunno, seems far fetched. On the other hand the claim is a serious wtf moment for either alignment
- 50 Shades has been vote hopping like mad the whole game, perhaps its just their schtick, or it's a good way to hide scummy behaviour. By contrast T-Bone seemed more measured, especially Day 2 and early Day 3, which plays better in my eyes and also makes me want to give the claim some credence
- To entertain this as a scum gambit we need to consider what they stand to benefit. A 1 for 1 trade at best? On a VT was it?
- Despite all this the claim is suspect, since this implies we've got a multiball with the best docs/blockers I've seen. Or we've got a half mad T-Bone lying through their teeth

That's kind of how I'm toing and froing on this one. At this stage I'll go with the claim and see where it leads, mostly because I don't know any better.
