So ascetic is generally better for scum? I mean I could see it countering watcher and maybe a couple other roles if scum used it on town, and then using it on themselves would be beneficial too. I was more just having fun in the first bit I didn't feel like hoping on the Varsoon wagon because there's obviously enough pressure there already. And I didn't avoid talking about Varsoon, I gave my thoughts on the matter and I wanted to start looking elsewhere. I wanted to make banter with notsci and see where that led, then I wanted to question you on your early hop on of the Varsoon wagon, because it seemed like he was already being fairly heavily pressured.

Of course I'm gonna be fencey about hopping on a wagon on page 5. It's page 5. I'm not ready to be gun-hoe about a lynch on page 5. Although this day will more than likely end with Varsoon's lynch, I don't think my pressure there is needed past me getting a few comments about it.

I don't know what to think on people because they all seem to have played together and are talking about that and interacting like old friends. I have no idea what to comment on or how to even remotely go about scumhunting. Right now, I'm just commenting on anything that pops out to me and really mostly just answering your stuff.

I don't think I'm avoiding Varsoon talk, I think the whole situation is just fairly cut and dry. He probably slipped, he got called out for it, he flailed when pressured, and here we are!

I haven't done stuff with my vote on notsci because notsci just kinda fucked off and I realized he's gonna probably continue to fuck off like he's been doing. I don't really know where else my vote would go that would be good for pressure right now because I don't feel strongly enough about anyone possibly being scummy.

Cabd has been rubbing me the wrong way all game, front and center with setup spec and fanciful ideas for how this game should be played. That's all fine and dandy but it seems like it could just as easily be a smoke screen. The more it happens the more it bothers me.

I was initially confused as why they were jumping all over with it, then it was explained by all parties involved. I said fairly early on that I agreed that it was more likely to come from scum than town, plus I both think that Cephrir is town for his reaction and that he's a much better mafia player than I am

I understand that you didn't understand what ceph was saying early on, and I understand you think the slip will more likely come from scum. However, what concerns me is that you viewed the slip as sufficient enough to confirm him as scum without observation of the actual slip and without much question of whether ceph and ffery's judgement was accurate or without much prodding to varsoon. I think town should show a healthy amount of skepticism when it comes to these things, and your assertion that ceph is just a better scum hunter and riding on the coattails of that puts me off.

Also I got the impression from your 396 that you were treating varsoon as having to have scum claimed by saying his claim was dumb. So I don't understand why you said you could trust var's word that var was scum.

But moving the she's busy look to her actively trying to get a lynch, I'm not sure it's a point for her being scum to me. Initially he wanted ABR with little reasoning, which I found as odd, but dismissed more or less, not 100% sure what the motive would be for having two scum in a neighbourhood though. He then went on to suggest Bookitty with little reasoning.

One scum was confirmed in thread, the other said he was giving up. The only other non-town apparently had a near unachievable win condition.
