The interactions between you and STD look like buddying without the context that they are related to out-of-game friendship."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

Okay, I have a second to post this now:
I looked at town-meta for STD to try to get a picture of what his town game looks like. In the game we shared as scum, he was bold and sort of swashbuckling in how he addressed the town. I think his confidence was commented on more than once as a town-tell in that game.
I took a look at this game:
Mafia With a Twist: The OK Corral
I think this game is a good comparison because it had a weird mechanic (much like this one) and because STD lasted for a good long while in that game. STD's play in that game (where he was town) and in this game are similar in a number of ways. He's paranoid, he's uncertain of his reads, he moves around a bit in his perception of the game. Most importantly, he's not showing the confidence and bravado that was so evident in Oldy.
I'm going to file STD in town for now anyway."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

Okay, I'm an idiot. I had read this game yesterday and was waiting for wgeurts to respond before I posted about it, so I searched and found the wrong link for the game in question.
The correct link is:
Mafia with a Twist: The OK Corral
Sorry about that."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

The other game I linked STD was also town and mostly the same as in the OK Corral, so it can be used for meta on him for anyone who wants to have a look. It just wasn't the game I had read in the first place.
Have you played with BPC a lot, Ceph? I don't actually get why, if he knew you and STD were good friends, it would still be a towntell to have spotted it in this game. That would make it less a towntell in my opinion."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

I don't know? There have been numerous softs already and this has been the most blatant of them. For Scum to come and say "Something happened to you, you have to think I'm Town now" is pretty outlandish to win over one person when the amount of PRs floating around could implicate her any other way as Scum.
I just think it's too brazen for Scum. How many people long for that "past, simpler, and better world," I wonder,
without ever recognizing the truth that perhaps it was they who were simpler and better,
and not the world about them?-

I'm trying to tread carefully here, but unfortunately I don't recall anything particularly hostile, can you quote what specifically orc has said to cause this reaction?-

mara's MO as caught and pressured scum is to fakeclaim. i could give you many examples of this, and i will if you think it necessary.
knowing that, do you still think it's too brazen for scum?We are lazy people on an adventure, flirting with life but too shy to go all the way.-

Can you give me one, Orcinus? I don't need a link, just the name of a game.
I had real problems trying to meta Mara apart from the links you gave earlier because she posts in a lot of games she's not in and she's in a ton of hydras. So I could use a bit of help."Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.

I have rethought my orci read and I suggest we get her on the lynch wagon today. That's enough said as the reasons could prove useful to the scum. I suspect her of being scum as well which I'll explain later after briefly saying my reads.
Town:
Brian, Cabd and Albert B. Rampage, Orci and Mara. I'm pretty sure on these and I'm only listing those of confident in.
Scum:
Need to rethink.
This will be explained later in this post. I'm only stating these reads as others I'm unsure of, they will be posted later as a relook everyone as I had to skim quite a bit to catch up. However before I explain my scum reads I've got an idea which I wish to explain.
We should all claim our CO name, knowing all names could allow flavour analysis allowing us to guess role types and alignment. This would only work if (nearly) everyone agrees to claim. I know this would also provide the scum info however the doctors in the game would get the same. It's just a thought at the moment and I'm thinking of the scenarios which could follow a mass-claim.
Now there are good reasons for my reads, I can already say that Orci and Mara are pretty conf. town with what me and my neighbourhood know. Brian skies and cabd are also close to conf. town for other sensitive reasoning.-

Orci I'm comfortable with reading as town despite mara's beliefs. I think she's really just taking her tell too seriously without considering how tells still have to be considered in context. He also I believe is generally unaware but I think it's weaker in his case.
I realize this is vague but I really want to avoid this turning into competing wagons. I can discuss some other parts of my read, but I really hate discussing why I think some people are wrong as town, and it's not really my job to defend someone I don't know their true alignment.
Also I disagree with boo's meta read on bpc, as I'm not getting the feeling he's contributed anything significant to this game so far. I'd like her to expand on her read a bit more and explain why bpc's play is to make him unlikely scum.
I understand you not wanting to put all your cards on the table, but right now I'm either reading this post wrong, or you completely dodged commenting on her actual Orc case which I think is kinda substantial.

@wgeurts:
1. Does your neighbourhood agree with all of what you've just posted here?
2. What is the basis for any of these reads, please? More than "with what me and my neighbourhood know." That's not good enough.
3. How does any of that make a mass flavour-claim a good idea?"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."-

The wgu posts are absolutely baffling to me.
Particularly the mass flavor claim.
I am beginning to hate all this hush hush neighbor stuff, and I have trouble believing we could possibly have that many functionally confirmed town on day 2."I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener-

#1513 is all over the place. Who is her that you suspect to be Scum?
