Marquis was scum. Also to a lesser extent, SK, whose opinions read very fake to me considering he did seem to be following along even when Marquis was imploring people that Ram was scum. If his opinion is that LQ is scum now, then something isn't right. That segues nicely into....

LQ is never scum here. Mostly from D1 and D2 and D3 postings. Pulled off the segue. Looking back I'd put LQ as more town than Shea/Davsto even only because there remains a faint possibility that 1) Shea is having a god-tier or close to it scum game, and 2) that maybe Davsto's play is scum and is on another level having a different kind of god-tier scum game but again I super duper doubt it.

Anyway that leaves Dunn/Ran/Gamma and I'm not voting Dunn now or the next day unless I get a promise that the day's lynches will go Dunn --> Shadoweh. Which I bet I won't

Gamma mostly just smells town atm. Dunno what to say there to be honest. In an entire 4 game days in a decently long game I've struggled to get a solid read on him.

Ran is I guess is someone I could be compelled to vote if I had too. I absolutely would have done it yesterday, but now I don't feel it so much anymore.

Ya... I bet this satisfied 0% of anyone here, but that's really where I'm at and where I've been for about a couple rl days since power came back on.

Calculated in terms of lurking and trying to sound town the exact argument CES made (Town and scum both do this, but the point is that it's a deliberate play that goes against what you might think of "lynchbait", i.e. someone drawing attention to themselves in very unselfserving ways). When Marquis wasn't doing this D2, he was basically the poster child of scum posting.

Do not underestimate him so.

And also don't underestimate CES's capability for extensive and calculated busing.

I don't know if I feel good about a wagon there or if it's more of an annoying inevitability since people would rather not look twice at Lickerty right now.
He hasn't stopped being minimal and admittedly him being the only one willing to look at LQ makes my gut twist.
If it came down to it I'd be okay with a vote there, but he doesn't even have votes right now so it feels weird to be talking about compromising already.

I disagree that shea can't be Scum with Marquis.. Context is important. If they are both Scum, then Shea is in a world of hurt if Marquis gets lynched and flips Scum and shea isn't on the wagon. I have yet to look at shea's read(S) on CES, but that's on the order. Depending on what I see there, I may have more to say.

Long story short, Marquis should NEVER make it to LyLo.

I don't think bussing makes sense in the first place here. Like, you're saying that if marquis got lynched and tsq wasn't on the wagon then he'd look bad, but marquis wouldn't be getting lynched here in the first place if he were scum – it was scum who started the wagon (and i think your reads match mine on this point such that you should agree). If cogito ergo sum were town scum would've almost certainly taken that opportunity, the same espeically so for dunnstral. Scum wouldn't need to be the trailing bus vote on a scum!marquis wagon because a scum!marquis wagon most likely wouldn't be going through in the first place. None of the pushes there have been forceful or convincing enough for them to

You greatly underestimate how much a player like Marquis hurts Town... You may have a TR on Marq, but let's be honest here, there's just not enough to get the majority of players to TR Marqis at pretty much any stage of the game. That makes Marquis a HUGE liability. With CES, he is at least contributing something to the game and giving us something we can actually read whether for later in the game or just basically clear him based on a Scum!Marquis flip.

You are also way too confident that "we could win before we get to LyLo, so it won't matter." This is playing best case scenario, which is NEVER the way you want to approach the game - especially when you don't even have a Scum lynch and it's D3.

Basically, I think there is a Scum in Marq/Dunn and Marq/CES and CES/Dunn. That's kinda where I am atm.

We are in danger of not getting a lynch off and the points made against Ran makes sense and this is another good point. I will hammer Ran if that is what it takes to get a lynch off.
