Guys, about this one:

I was kinda hoping that ythill might think he'd been hammered and say something to prove his scumminess, but oh well.

Please don't use this kind of strategies anymore. As Gob correctly pointed out, that wasn't a valid hammer (you'll se why I decided this); however, Grimmy and Gob posted

before

that. If you recall the rules I posted on the first post, nobody may post when reaching Twilight and your whole strategy was based on the violation of this rule or expecting other people to violate the rule (which worked partially for Grimmy and Gob). Remember, ignorance isn't an excuse for not following the rules.

This is why I chose the hammer to be invalid.

I must owe all of you an apology (yes, even the dead players). After some discussion with some more experienced scummers , I reached the following conclusions:

1. My rules don't specifically say that you must unvote before voting. Even though I intended so, they weren't 100% clear.
2. Therefore, the hammer vote on Ythill is perfectly valid.
3. The above post is completely rubbish. It's completely my fault on misunderstanding the players' actions, thoughts and reactions.
4. Therefore, if such post causes anything wrong with the game flow, the blame can be placed completely on me.
4.5. I'd prefer to hear your complains privately, if you have any.
5. I'm not erasing that post as it may serve me or someone else as a bad example of modding.
6. Fewer players mean fewer days before I set up a deadline.

Again, I give you my sincerest apologies. I want this game to run smoothly and all my actions are done to that end (

Anyway, my top suspect is jdodge, as mentioned previously. I think the looking for scum partners is premature. We should be looking for one scum today, and then lynching them. Then tomorrow we can concern ourselves with who is most likely their partner. Remember, we only have one guaranteed lynch at this point, so to start lining up our shots for tomorrow seems strange.

That being said, Jdodges "link me to someone lol" post is ingenuous at best, and presupposes that just because he isn't BEST linked to someone, then he is not scum with them. This ignores the nature of mafia, which Jdodge is well aware of, and also ignores the fact that jdodge is a particularly good player.

How so? If people are truly scum-hunting, they should really be putting more thought into the game. Frankly Seth is not. He seems to think I'm scummy based on Ythill's reasonings, which as we now know, were largely constructed to save himself from a lynch.

But it's not just Seth. Everyone here seems to be lurking/not playing. Maybe they want a DL to come up to make parking votes and lynching easier. Maybe they want to avoid bussing their partners.

Don't you think there's a possibility that scum are actively trying not to post too much about other people to avoid links? I've asked JD and Seth Qs about other people which they have avoided doing so far. TSQ seems to have seen my Qs coming towards him and preemptively made a post justifying this play-style.
