Detective "Detective" Detective reporting for duty! We're looking to keep the peace here. We haven't had any murders for a good few days now, so let's try and aim for a week without any, eh? It'd break the previous record.

Morning Tweet committing around half a dozen greeting tells. Fortunately for her, two cancel out and she's on an even number.

Go ahead! I'm excited to hear what it says. Though, if it's another prankster sending in a John Cena entrance, I might just quit The Force.

P.S: Can I interest anyone with some mushrooms?

I had a listen to the tape. It's slightly... off putting, but I can't quite put my finger on why.

Detective Snorlax here.

No one's died yet so we're probably all innocent. Jigsaw, we don't have all day, m8; get on with it. Just leave Gamma Emerald alone because he hasn't finished his story arc yet. You need to kill him at the right moment for peak feels.

Anyway, I'm going to

Does anyone know where the plot went? I was hoping another tape would fall from the ceiling, but it seems the director's given us little to work with. We could maybe start a brawl, commit some GBHs, and see what happens from there?

3) If you're in a PT, you should announce your presence to the PT participants. Otherwise, you are damaging town cohesion and would therefore most likely be scum.
4) As the game progresses, if we clean out 2 scum from a single PT, it's probable that the remaining are town.
I do agree with everything said here though. The Collision Enquiry Unit approves.

Then you'd be a very dead bat. I don't think the producers want to kill you off this early though. I think your death would be pretty emotional so it's probably lined up for around 2/3rds of the way through this game. You're basically bulletproof with this plot armour actually; we should make use out of it.

VaultDweller
Vecna
iDanyboy - probably town
GeorgeBailey - GeorgeBailey
Drixx
davesaz - bit off
farside
Battle Mage - who knows with this guy :cop:
BBmolla
GuiltyLion - i will sheep GeorgeBailey
pisskop - natural and healthy
Albert B. Rampage - i reserve judgement for now
Almost50 - disliked joke response to my question, pointing out "crumb"
xtoxm - okay push on farside
Blake Belladonna - Hello.

This implies that there is one scum team and I agree with pk when he says at this point, it's almost irrelevant if there's a traitor. EJ is doing setup analysis, trying to appear as if he is contributing to town but it's through a series of posts that don't actually give town meaningful information. When one of the lines in the mod post is "confirmed 16 vs 5" there's no need to get into all of this.

VOTE: Elsa Jay
Are you aware of the fact that what Elsa is suggesting is allowed by the rules? He's suggesting the Acolytes are split into two PTs, and I think it's a fair thing to speculate about given the ratio of scum to town in this game.

For example, we could have two groups of Acolytes that alternate nightkills. They may know each other but not be able to communicate. A lot is possible here.

The Paperwork Command is asking me to lower you on my reads list.

V/LA until the 24th.
Will catch up then.

Meanwhile, I want to see some good world-building and character development from the lot of you. I'm going to throw a fit if I return and I see plot holes and cliches everywhere. And for the love of God, NO cheap jumps scares. Leave the scares for the right moments, and pad it out with some juicy psychological horror.

I see Albert B. Rampage is attempting to take a lead role and keep us all calm in this calamity. Probably means he dies first which plunges us into even more despair. Classic Jigsaw.

I'm pleased to see there haven't been any murders yet, though, it does make for a somewhat slow pace to the story. Now, don't get me wrong; I'm not
encouraging
any killings, but I'm sure I could turn a blind eye if there was the occasional GBH or two to spice up the story.

For sure there's scum outside the PTs. Probably 1 scum in each PT and 2 outside of it if there are 3 PTs. Statistically, our best bet is to lynch inside [A50, BBmolla, Xtoxm, Guilty Lion] today.
This is bad. You're drawing these conclusions out of thin air, Albert. There's nothing to suggest there's going to be 1 scum in each hood and 2 outside. Also .

Hey, Blake, can you give me an example of Dave reacting very poorly and creating a toxic gamestate while he was pushed as scum?

Almo, are and , and your reasons for wanting to lynch Elsa? A traitor crumb, foreshadowing that he's scum WHILE there's a wagon on him, and the fact his scumgame is stronger than his towngame?
Now that's one I haven't seen before. Some nice foreshadowing.

The Mass Spec Analytical has changed their minds on Vecna. He's pointed out things they found towny on more than one occasion.
In post 947, Elsa Jay wrote:Almost I'm starting to think your going out of your way to try and make the vigilante(s) waste a shot on me. Usually you've just left me alone day 1 and such because I'm "entertaining". I think your just trying to detract from the other potential wagons today.
This post doesn't really fill me with confidence regarding Elsa though. I mean, I agree that Almo is scummy, but the reasoning here is iffy.

Almo, don't you think that's far too blatant from Elsa? Joan's was far more subtle and still got her eventually lynched. You think he wouldn't be a little wary being in that game and seeing people including you push her heavily for that?

Honestly though, reading back on Elsa's posts, I still scumread him for feeling weird and off-tone; I just don't like the reasons you're using to scumread him for.

so do you think both of them are scum together or what?

I'm trying to chew on this thought process here - my initial gut reaction was that it seemed plainly disingenuous to push A50 while saying "I also scumread your main scum read, but just for different reasons", but then the more I thought about it the more I'm thinking scum probably doesn't make this up because it's so on the surface inconsistent?

can I get crowd opinions on this one? I'm entirely unsure how I feel about it

The post in question () that got him to scumread me were some disconnected thoughts I typed up from 20 pages of skimming. If his case is that I'm scum for suspecting Almo and Elsa who both suspect each other, he's pushing me for NAI reason that I've explained - I don't preflip solve and my reads are almost always independent - he disregards that reason and continues to push me without giving any reasoning.

I disagree with this. Scum will try and keep their reads as consistent as possible to avoid suspicion, especially a player as active as ABR. It's hard to read ABR this game, but the fact that he was willing to make a noted change to his reads as the game progressed has to be counted as townpoints, def not scummy.
This isn't true as a blanket statement at all, and varies from player to player. Are you aware of Albert's meta? Regardless, you need to look at each instance independently, and see if the switch is justified. Does his flip look justified based on that post I made? I really don't see it at all. I only surround myself with grey flags; you wouldn't find a red flag within touching distance of me.

It's a bit old school, but ABR is pushing for reactions from what I can tell. I get the impression he is seeing how players react to each wagon and how they vote and what comes from it.

- Completely bizarre. Initially thought it was too out there to be scum, but then reconsidered that he could be aware of that, and the calculated way he pushes it makes it a little more scummy.
- I thought these questions were pretty reasonable.
- Changes his mind about Morning. Can come from scum or town. If he's scum, I don't think he intended to actually push Morning and accumulate votes, but get townread for the push, so this is probably NAI.
- Feels really political in a way, and seems to over-justify himself in scumreading Elsa Jay. Kinda scummy.
- Over justifies his reasoning for voting Elsa Jay, explaining philosophy of furthering the gamestate during Day 1. I mean, I don't disagree, but the roundabout way he explains his thought process and tries to keep his posts as airtight as possible does seem scummy, like he's afraid of leaving any cracks open.
- Disagree with reasoning voting Dany.
- Votes/pushes me while I'm V/LA and unable to contribute.
- Pops in to disagree with me on a holistic take on how scum act in certain situations. It's safe to comment on and puts no focus on the wagon on me or Albert's push on me, despite being the first to actually scumread/vote me for entirely different reasons.

I'm fine with voting here for now. I have problems with the tone too, but I'm entirely unsure if that's a playstyle thing.

And obviously it would help with reading you in general.

And respectfully, I think you need all the help you can get at the moment. :giggle:
I mean, I appreciate that, but I'm not outing my alt for this game. Also, the other game is ongoing so I technically shouldn't have brought it up in the first place. Bit of a plot hole there.

Genuine question. Earlier in this game, you called ABR scummy for going from townreading you to placing a vote on you.

You've now done the exact same thing to me.

Is it not scummy when you do it? Or were just using that as an excuse to get a wagon on ABR,

This is why my vote is on Hectic guys.
Why do you need to emphasise this with "genuine question"; are your other questions not genuine?
In post 196, Hectic wrote:momo's is incredible. That post from Morning Tweet is entirely NAI. Are reads like these common coming from momo? I've heard he has quite the reputation and would be considered a dark horse for this story.

For example, we could have two groups of Acolytes that alternate nightkills. They may know each other but not be able to communicate. A lot is possible here.

The Paperwork Command is asking me to lower you on my reads list.
This is my progression on you earlier; I was always unsure about you. The basis of my worsened read on you now is from looking through your whole ISO. You're just the right amount of a supporting character that you're rarely in the spotlight while avoiding suspicion, so that the reveal still surprises us. You make a perfect Acolyte.

momo, I said that particularly play from you was essentially "too scummy to be scum", but it could just be scum. Albert said his OVERALL read on me was town multiple times, and is now 99% sure I'm scum. That's completely different from the situation you're trying to call me out for. I'm not concrete on you being scum, but I find you scummy enough to vote/push.

As far as I can tell, that is pretty much it lol. I don't think I've ever been more confused about why exactly I'm being wagoned.

Elsa's vote is really bad. It's like when the cinematographer decides to put the lights in front of the cameras. Elsa, any reasoning?

Detective Detetic Detective here, slightly befuddled.

I'm confused by the nonchalant and apathetic way people are voting me. They can't have been convinced by something either since there's no case out there for why I'm scum. Some of them have got to be scum. Is Jigsaw railroading me here? I thought he had better plot devices than that.

When should I be thinking about claiming?

Alright, whatever, I'm claiming:

I'm Detective Halloran, a Police X-shot Sleuth.

X amount of times, I can investigate someone at night to see if they're an
Acolyte
, but I can't detect Jigsaw himself with my check.

I've been crumbing it all game with my RP.

The way Albert has played this day out is incredibly scummy. He's said I'm 99% scum but has refused to write the case on me or give resasons because "it's better if I let people see it themselves", essentially meaning no discussion can be had about
why
I'm scum, and the game can't be progressed.

I have faith in SirCakez' ability to write a good storyline. A hero will come to my rescue. I believe.

I'm not taking it personally regardless of your alignment, Albert; I'm just still a little baffled by the play and somewhat struggle to see it coming from town.

If momo flips scum, it makes you look better because of the hood. Otherwise, I can definitely see what you've done here as coming from scum as an act of performance/false bravado to get people to wagon a townie, and defuse pressure from other potential scum wagons at the time.
