Here you go!
Spoiler:
In post 232, Clover Ebi wrote:Hm, Grumpy Cat can you talk to me on why you think scum are less likely to take the stance Green Crayons did? He was the first person I was getting some wolf pings on not because of him going after the fake hammer but because I disliked the reasoning/way they worded it.

I get the reasoning of scum not wanting to take the lead, but I feel like that's more player dependant than anything from what I've seen. I also like hat guy who's name I forget at the moment!
In post 234, Clover Ebi wrote:I'm also not the type of person to put much value in the placement of a slot on the list besides the number thing mostly because that just seems silly to go for. I mean yeah it gets you some towncred but willingly taking lower numbers? Gosh, that has to make you pretty confident. But there's probably not much to go into on this until later on. :)
pedit: I never said you did?
In post 236, Clover Ebi wrote:Your entire iso is about going after the dude who faked it and then you changed your vote, it seemed pretty odd to me because you felt really stubborn about it from when I was reading. Then you go on to make another statement about it that makes it so any kind of defense would be seen in a bad late all while still keeping your vote on Ico. It's just odd to me!
pedit: You're reading it wrong :giggle:

You're not dumb, I think that was the worst post you've made! Get it? :D

Also not particularly keen about the gypyx shenanigans. Seems like a particularly confident push over very little. Feels like early scum distancing.
i thought he responded v well to this and it didn't feel like a particularly safe/popular opinion

came because the "I totally think I'm dead on page 6"

stayed because the "there is scum on my wagon" + <doesn't even know who is voting him because otherwise he would know that he isn't evicted> = manufactured last words = lying = ?!scum?!
yes excellent

switch back to ico when he realised it wasn't really relevant was good

btw i would suspect scum to deny faking it

bc faking it for a reaction to a reaction test is lol
there's a real kind of fluidity/extra layer behind this which both works @ surface and makes a lot of sense when he elaborates; makes me think his reads are Real

criticising my going @ the mechstuff was good

i need to work but his iso is consistently Believable thoughts which aren't interested in going with the grain and i think he has a really high level of fluidity. i can feel him moving through the thread in a way that is intuitive enough i think is pretty hard to fake.

apparently nobody can tell what i was actually talking about in this post (glare @ ico/dats) but do you like.. feel any feelings while reading this?

I mean, I imagine if they did it as scum it's because they figured they would do it as town, and not just something they pulled out of their ass.
It's always the same. When you fire that first shot, no matter how right you feel, you have no idea who's going to die. You don't know whose children are going to scream and burn. How many hearts will be broken. How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they're always going to have to do from the very beginning... SIT DOWN AND TALK!

can we consolidate on either Marquis or Umlaut and have a real bandwagon competition going?

In post 660, iamausername wrote:anyway, that's a huge tangent from the original question. Umlaut seems to be picking up on a lot of the same things i am, and he keeps posting extremely relatable content like this:

Spoiler: Umlaut posts
this game is well beyond what I consider the sweet spot of activity and I tend to react the same way Clover says he is reacting (by just mindlessly scrolling through and then realizing I haven't actually read anything) unless I actively force myself to slog through, which is hard to do for something that is ultimately supposed to be a recreational activity
More talking about herself than talking about other players which is what town should be more interested in doing.
I mean like I could make up some fresh hot takes to impress everyone with my original and unique perspective but overall I think it's probably better to just say what I actually think instead.
this last one in particular is, as i believe the kids are saying these days, A Mood.
can you talk about this a bit more? like, is he picking up on things that you agree on that are game-content-related, not just "relatable"? because the first quote is complaining about the game speed, and the last one is complaining about the "dullness" of it (or the ability to make things up for townpoints? anyway), which i don't exactly take to be AI?
yeah, the "picking up on the same things as me" was an entirely separate point from "posting relatable content", though i see how providing quotes for one and not the other inflates the perceived importance of it in a way that wasn't intended.

things like his progression on Something_Smart following the same trajectory as mine when S_S clarified that he has a somewhat loose definition of the word "plan", having gut scumread on DrD, being convinced to vote Iconeum specifically by , etc.

like, in general, his reads list seems to map pretty closely to mine, and that coupled with the aforementioned relatable content which suggests that he thinks about the game in a similar way to me adds up to a townread.

i find it pretty hard to believe that their impression of the game went from "neutral ergo rvs voting tw" to "zzz this is boring" in 45 seconds.
i find it pretty hard that the gypyx vote was for literally any clean-conscious reason.
the entire intro feels like it's constructed to be read a particular way.
man i was probably already going to join the Marquis wagon when i thought this was just tiresome NAI bullshit, now i'm definitely in

Why aren't you offering me a bribe? I was thinking of voting Marquis anyway but now that I know there are bribes available I may have to hold out longer.

finally, the first wagon battle.

umlaut vs. marquis

an intriguing contest. lets view their stats;

UMLAUT

Image
- number pick - #21
- draft position - 3rd
- posting frequency - 31/744
- avatar cuteness - 8/10

MARQUIS

Image
- number pick - #1
- draft position - 4th
- posting frequency - 9/744
- avatar cuteness - 9/10

~~

the town has narrowed things to two of the top four picks. both choices have remarkably similar cuteness and posting frequency, though you'd have to say umlaut edges marquis on content. are either of them actually scum? hard to say. number analysis views both these slots in the "hot zone™", but we perhaps haven't seen enough behaviourally to make this a slam dunk execution. role claims are looming to be a HUGE factor in determining which way this one will fall.

lets go to expert field commentator the worst for his thoughts.

Clarify “hot zone”.

I approve of the wrestling commentator prose.
