Both scum and town would clarify a point. Miscommunication benefits every alignment except maybe jester.
So it's like a post pointing out someone is nice and helpful to clear comms but not actually commenting on her alignment. Or only doing so by acknowledging niceness and logic jumping to townness
In post 21, Moonview wrote:And yeah it's a common belief that there are no train stations in Antarctica but I think that's just what Aisa wants us to believe.
Are you saying there's some sort of conspiracy theory?
Absolutely. Trust no one.
I'm thinking Antarctica is some sort of industrial wasteland. that's why it seems so empty and barren but in actual fact there are many many train stations hidden under the ice.
Mayhaps it used to be on the equator but some catastrophy hit and resulted in and earth being rotated 90 degrees on its axis so now it's at the pole. and Aisa is secretly a time travelling being and knows all this.
I like this! I think that it makes more sense if instread of a catastrophe happening, the civilisation that reached industrial technology was just super ancient. So it can be explained that Antarctica used to be habitable, and a civilisation had emerged there that utilised rail travel, but got wiped out, like what happened to the civilisation in the Indus Valley.
Aisa would have to be a time traveller yeah. Maybe they were just on the verge of time travel technology and Aisa was a scientist researching it who escaped disaster by fleeing into today's world.
I don’t see how that is an accurate description of any of my posting but especially 126.
"Look at me, I'm so town!" (+1.0)
It's the so-called LAMIST tell and it's still relevant enough to have its own acronym! Newbscum usually are very concerned with 'looking good' to avoid falling under suspicion, but don't know how to fake-scumhunt.
Instead, they will do things like pushing the lurkers to contribute, trying to "resuscitate" them by voting them, asking for reads on themselves, talking a lot about the game itself (this is called IIoA),
claiming they are doing anything in their power to get information.

That’s not at all what I did. I liked that she was asking Elements to explain his different reads. I didn’t suggest that what she was doing was either “nice” or “helpful”.
Doesn't seem like much has happened since I was here.
I think Una is wrong about Nona - her posts seem fine and I don't see the iioa at all. I think I would call both una and nona >rand town right now. Elements is also fine.
Skeptical of Aisa's 95 - it seems like she's totally misrepresenting what Elements said here. I'd like her to clarify her thought process behind the question.

I want to tr nona but those three posts could easily be from scum
And Pavowski's grand total of eight posts could not come from scum?
It is so weird to shade somebody for only having 8 posts at this point in the game. What are we, like, sixteen hours in?
I mean there would be more but nobody was around to meme with last night
It's ok, I'll prove to you that I'm town soon enough
Unless you know it already
Cheeky bunny
It came out prickly, but the intention was to ask Elements about the apparent inconsistency in her reads, not to shade you. I have no problem with your posting so far.
In post 109, innocentvillager wrote:Ok Elements I guess I’ll just ask you directly. I remember you as mostly a lurker/low content slot why does it feel like you’re extra engaged this game so far
I took a hiatus for a couple of years, now I'm back with energy. Still excited for more mafia after the game that ended that Aisa was in and be got bamboozled
This is, in fact, my working theory about you so far.
Also same, except I'm back with an extra dose of cynicism and paranoia. Maybe I can be the biggest downer and joy killer in this game?

Buckle up
I wasn't trying to imply that Pavowski's post count mattered in an important way, if that's what you were implying. The post came out worded a bit weirdly.
I noticed what seemed like a possible inconsistency: if you are going to reserve judgment on Nona, why not also reserve judgment on Pavowski, whose posts were not that much less fakeable?
I think I was aware that Elements could have had genuine reasons for those reads. Pavowski and Nona seem to have different characters and it was totally possible that Elements had seen *something* in Pavowski's posting. However, I'm not going to just sit and be like "oh hmm I guess this isn't that scummy after all, maybe there is no need to question it"? The post was there and I decided to ask a question about it.
I also have fun asking questions that are slightly misleadingly worded sometimes - see e.g. post 16 which is another post that people have interpreted as a scumread when it is not. It amuses me and makes slightly less than 100% transparent what I'm thinking when I question someone, which I think can be a good thing?
Una is probably not scum, because 1 mafia could have hammered?
unless they were both arlready in there

Wait, what?
> Una is at E-1
> Mafia sees it and doesn't hammer
How do these two facts imply Una is town?
if one scum partner hammers town he just tree stumps himself
in this setup they benefit a lot from ending this phase early

no I just want you to explain because I haven't done anything this game
I already explained what came to mind, I think you are smart enough to come to the same conclusion, if you were scum, you wait, tell the other person to hammer, and boom we are on yeetlo
playing longcon is suboptimal as scum

Huh, I actually hadn't considered that but yes, that's something scum can do.
So
only put people at E-1 if you're ok with them dying
. I will side-eye you if you do it too early

I finally see what you mean. (We're considering a hypothetical in which Una was at E-1 for longer than 10 minutes.) You mean the possibilities are
> 0-1 scum on Una's wagon - in which case, why did it not get hammered?
> 2 scum on Una's wagon - in which case, Una is town.
The issue is you're not accounting for the fact Una's wagon could have failed to get hammered
