I think furtive is an incredibly easy town sort, so its a weird place to focus.

This one is, and will probably remain for some time, lost this gameday in terms of keeping up but feels their reads(yes, even their unspoken Dan read) were all pretty decent

like i dunno it's possible that this is just like a flavor leaf-style "actually my reads were right all along" thing where there's some town insecurity or whatever that makes them want to twist things so they feel better?

i think a lot of people do actually do that as town and ive interpreted this sort of behavior wrongly before. but it's also probably too generous to think that's more likely than the more obvious answer, that they're self-conscious because they're scum and are overly concerned about their own image

based on other behavior (refusing to explain reads and similar) it seems like they're trying to at least present a front of being unconcerned with how people perceive them, so i think if they did feel that way here as town it would be pretty out of place

This post caught my eye during the read. This is essentially why I can't see Peta as scum here. There is no scum motivation behind how he played day 1. And it would make a whole lot of sense for scum to have tried to NK him it literally happens all the time.

This also consequently makes more sus of Asri because I really don't get the push there - feels like scum trying to take advantage of the situation with Furtive's JK.

i think the cakez post is fine and i agree with the reasoning for furtive being town. i don't think he's universally agreed on as town, im p sure i remember that a few people were still suspecting him recently, so i think its reasonable for him to explain his read there

Another read I've flipped on is Alisae - I had e as scum towards end of day 1 before I got upset, but the way e has taken command of the town today (especially at day start) feels transparently town. I would be shocked if e pulled this kind of power move as scum - it feels untenable and I feel like I almost never see scum go "okay, I'm taking over as leader, this is our lim pool," etc. I dunno does that make sense?

Yeah I definitely think Ali could pull this off as scum but I agree with fire in that it doesn't really make sense here. Like if e were scum here e would want town more disorganized not less right? And it's not like e has drastically changed the lim targets people are talking about to protect scum or something.
