I read up
I agree with the Dunn townreads
I think Cakez is flinging shit to see what sticks which is kinda boring
Kilgas wavelength vote is uninspired and the toss away read at me is as well
I dunno why syry isn’t pushing me harder if he thinks I’m scum that push is kinda limp and I also feel like it shouldn’t have to take everyone else going “huh notty isn’t being townie” for him to say fuck no kill notty
One townread on page six, this is weak ShitShowSTRIKE HARD

Notty you and I both know that if you're determined to be in trollfuck mode literally nothing I do or say is going to pull you out of it
Do you think Cakez flinging shit at the walls is alignment indicative

I hate literally all of Cakez posting lmao
My “ew” was a poorly worded scumread and I think he went for what he assumed would be one of the easiest pushes to try and wiggle himself out of it
I don’t expect you to get me to stop fucking around but I candidly did expect a vote or SOMETHINGShowSTRIKE HARD

You fucking around was objectively less interesting to me than killing Kilga, which I am still on board for, see vote
There wasnt much point trying to read you until you decided to come out of it, so let's talk
From what I remember of Xenoblade 2 Cakez at least vaguely tried to put in some effort until Cabd pointed his nose in Cakez' general direction, at which point Cakez folded like a cheap card table
While I agree that his posting is godawful I'm not convinced it couldn't come from Cakez as townIn the timeless words of a great and revered man: "Blow it out your ass."

Actually let me expand on this a bitIn post 129, Syryana wrote: While I agree that his posting is godawful I'm not convinced it couldn't come from Cakez as town
I don't necessarily think that Cakez isn't scum so much as I'm more convinced Kilga is scum. I can also imagine a reality where Cakez!town posts like this because they don't know what else to do and it's RVS, but I can't imagine a reality where Kilga posts the first two things they posted as townIn the timeless words of a great and revered man: "Blow it out your ass."

i mean did you really have a choice if it would be difficult or not for you if you show up and people are already wagoning you and expecting something of you
i feel like if you're town this isn't doing you any favors because you're choosing to act with silly and goofy behavior and while im like. i get it. i think it impedes everyone's ability to read you as genuine.
also i don't think it's difficult to call someone scum in the manor youre doing it? even if they're not the main person being scumread by others.-

I'm still not entirely sure I understand what you're asking here, but I think your line of questioning can be generally answered by me saying that I believe any vote is better than no vote. A vote is a tangible committal to an opinion. In post 122, Dunnstral wrote:
You are willing to vote them out now, I am wondering why it is different if they are run up now or if nothing happens and you vote for somebody else later. In post 117, Kilgamayan wrote: Just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly, are you asking me why voting for someone Early Day 1 for Early Day 1 reasons is different from voting for someone Late Day 1 for Early Day 1 reasons? If that's not what you're asking, can you clarify what you are asking so I can answer you better?
Because I already made it in 103. Why would I make it again three posts later? In post 122, Dunnstral wrote:
As Wavelength points out; what is up with the first half of your post 106 then? You don't seem to be making that distinction there. In post 118, Kilgamayan wrote: Oh, a distinction should probably be made between "player that doesn't post very much" and "player who lacks meaningful presence". I had the former in mind with my Day 1 Lurker Votes comment. My vote for Wavelength is for the latter reason.-

Like, if you disagree with the logic of 103, that's one thing. That can be discussed to a degree, even though I suspect that would eventually boil down to playstyle differences. But acting like 103 didn't happen at all is another matter entirely. Don't just buy into wordless reaction images because they're clever or something.-

I don't know how to make this point with just images, so I give up.In post 103, Kilgamayan wrote: Wavelength was the only player where the result was "I don't remember anything this person did and I don't remember feeling any sort of thing about this person", and those types of slots tend to be red
If what you said in 103 was true, then you thought that my play was the same as "those types of slots tend to be red." You seem to be claiming that your vote was never a lurker vote, and was actually a valid vote.
In post 105, catboi wrote: So what I'm left with is you voting a low content slot, and that is the type of vote I see scum make a lot
, because in theory it's low accountability, no one likes a player who isn't saying much. But it doesn't really serve a useful purpose because if someone is inactive putting a vote on them isn't going to exert meaningful pressure and it doesn't get into the dirty work of trying to analyze what people are actually saying. This is because it's harder to make a case on townies who are being town.
But once Catboi started pushing against your vote, your explanation of your vote appears to shift. In post 106, Kilgamayan wrote: I also subscribe to not being a huge fan of Day 1 lurker votes! If my vote is still there for the same reasonswhen we're a lot closer to the end of the day, I'll be at least as worried about it as you appear to be.
Because, if what you said in 103 was true, then why did you ever then say "If my vote is still therefor the same reasons" that catboi could then be worried about you doing a lurker slot vote?
Why would his suspicion of your vote become more valid closer to deadline, if your reason for your vote was never a lurker vote, and was actually a valid vote all along?-

103 and 106 seem to be contradicting how Kilga views his own vote against me.
In 103, it is not just a Lurker Vote, and he thinks I am more likely to be mafia.
Spoiler:
in 105 Catboi pushed against his vote, and said that my content up to that point was all NAI, and therefore Kilga looked like they were just doing a vote on a low content slot.
In 106, Kilga responded to that. He agrees with Catboi that low content votes are bad, but catboi should not be worried about itat this stage of the day. He seems to be saying that lurker vote on me is okay "for now" because he is giving you room and he feels good about everyone else, and its early - so it is finefor now.
Spoiler:
I am struggling to reconcile that conceit he makes to catboi about his vote, with him claiming that it was more then just a lurker vote in 103.
Either:
It is not a lurker vote, and has more to it then just post count.
OR
It is a lurker vote, but because we are far from deadline it is okay - and catboi should be suspicious only if he keeps a lurker vote closer to deadline.
But Kilga argues both angles in different posts.-

I’m reading 106 as “if I don’t see anything scummier to vote than a lurker by end of day we have a problem”
And while overtly wordy and not phrased well, I find 103 is basically an over explanation of what a lurker vote is? Like, someone we know exists in the game but can’t remember a single thing they’ve done all game is pretty much textbook lurking.
Am I just like totally missing something bc I don’t mind that so much as the vernacular chosen?ShowSTRIKE HARD
