Well since Needle was your idea, I am going to say that you can have this choice since clearly your gut knows what it's talking about.-

There's 6 choices I can think of for truck.
Ice Cream - Ice cream food truck sells ice cream.
Horn - Doesn't trucks have horns too?
Drill - Some trucks have drills used to dig holes.
Plate - Trucks have license plates.
Snow - Some trucks are used to move snow.
Fence - There are fence trucks attached to a chain of fences which can be used for transporting different loads.-

i think ice cream, horn, and belt (seatbelts!) are my top picks. snow and drill are my second picks, and i guess plate makes sense as wellI will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”~M-

Train - both are modes of transportation; both haul cargo.
Horn - trucks can honk their horns.
Plate - trucks have license plates.
Belt - timing belt? drive belt?
Seal - trucks have those too.
Copper - might be used to help make trucks? Electronics and such?
This is the list I came up with before looking at anyone else's list.Mish-Mash Janitor

Other thoughts:
- We have five words left, and this clue hits all of them, so we could go for the win. Whether or not we *should* is another question entirely.
- We have one word leftover from TYPEWRITER, so exactly one word hits both TRUCK and TYPEWRITER.
Re-evaluating based on other lists:
- Forgot about seatbelts. Another type of belt, which makes that look better.
- Have never heard of a fence truck or a drill truck. I could see either of those as loads of cargo, but going down that route opens up just about anything that isn't abstract.
- Ice cream ... I'm thinking of the vehicles that drive around residential neighborhoods selling ice cream. Nowadays those vehicles (at least in my neck of the woods) are usually SUVs. Food truck, like the ones that park outside businesses and sell their wares? I don't spend enough time in the city to have a good sense of what's likely to be found there.
- Snow ... yeah, that's a possibility. Trucks can have snowplows equipped.
Right now, I'm somewhere along the lines of: Belt > Horn > Plate = Seal > Copper = Train = Snow > Ice Cream > Drill = Fence.Mish-Mash Janitor

I forgot about seat belts and that could work. I know that seal is an animal and I looked it up to see if there's another word for it and that might be part of the clue. I don't see how copper and train relates to truck and it feels like the 5th choice would be one of the choices I listed.
My top picks would be horn, belt, plate and my second picks in any order would be drill, ice cream, snow, and seal.
Something about the truck clue doesn't feel right to me. Cars have horn, belts, license plates, and a seal can also be used for a car and if these were our choices for the clue, then why did lilith say truck and not car? It feels like there's something more to the clue which made me think one of drill, ice cream, or snow would be part of the choices.-

I'd argue Train works better with Truck specifically over Car. All three are modes of transportation, but trains and trucks both are built to haul cargo.
I think Horn goes a *little* better with truck than car (airhorns), but it still fits well enough with car that I agree it's not enough to justify going truck vs. car.
Seal - vehicles aren't my strong suit, but I'm pretty sure that it's one of the internal components of most vehicles. So another "could go equally well with truck or car."
Will wait for Datisi to give an updated ranking, but it looks like we all think Horn and Belt should be early guesses?Mish-Mash Janitor

i thought "ice cream truck" is like, a very well-known thing. even if they aren't as common anymore, i doubt lilith wouldn't have thought of it when making the clue
and i'm not sure what word is supposed to cover both typewriter and truck...
i'm good with starting on horn and belt, thoughI will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”~M-

I'm trying to reconcile some old memories.
White vehicle. The front, something like a delivery van, with no doors. The back, a pair of coolers filled with ice cream. On the sides, pictures and prices. Played distinctive music, drove slowly.
Is that the thing we're talking about?Mish-Mash Janitor

Ice Cream is slowly working its way up my personal ranking, though.
Looking something like Belt = Horn > Plate > Train = Snow = Ice Cream > (everything else).Mish-Mash Janitor

I'm okay with us submitting horn, belt, and plate as our first guesses.-

What are the odds that we *need* to go for broke this time around?
I am at least contemplating the notion of Plate > Pass.Mish-Mash Janitor
