tho I was technically hitting back everything the tunneler threw at me, I think having that other person in my corner helped kill any potential wagon momentum on me

It was too coincidental with the way they asked Snivy. The slot got compromised because of that. And then they happened to be Vanilla.

Celebloki’s post about why it could have happened coincidentally is why I started to back off a bit, especially because imo, X is super scummy and TMI’d, but the slot had to be flipped.

Their defense of Heip + incessant “has to be scum in neighborhood” mentality doesn’t add up for me.

Like yeah, Snivy or Smiley is probably scum, but it’s not like a certainty just because of a neighborhood.

I have modded plenty of games with all town neighborhoods, and that’s like the scum thing to push when a neighborhood is an all town neighborhood.

Just my random 2 cents, I feel like in my limited return I have seen a definite mood change on MS. Part of the reason I stop playing ~10 years ago was I felt the prevailing tactic was to be toxic when scumhunting. Either these days I take things less personally, I've been lucky in my returning games, or things have actually gotten a bit more cordial.
