this is a public notice I'm starting to entertain plausible teams with alisae in them when looking for teams - although I still don't wish to immediately go for alisae rn.

The multiple assertions that cephrir is town, even if some are from slots I distrust has finally softened me slightly in that direction - although I still am widely skeptical of this. Moreso a gamestate feel of cephrir looking "alone" in the way the recent defense looked.

probably also a good time to bring up that my primary d1 strategy is to look for the slot I find least towny and go there in order to maximize the efficacy of the info that slot gives in the worst case scenario.


Also somewhat related - but going forward as we approach elimination decision time, anyone who claims they are the special PR distributer should be not voted - OR cc'd. Instead we choose 2 targets for them among people not being voted out and enforce them giving PR powers to those 2 as means of hiding our only self clearing role - and if they are fake, the real one must go outside these 2 - so if neither gains a PR, it is automatic confirmation the claim was fake the next day.

If Luka was town then even if he's being super low-effort just because he feels like it, I'd still expect him to have better reads. His reasoning for Wheme and Pooky being town boils down to vibes, but my experience playing on MU is that the majority of the playerbase there gives off good vibes regardless of alignment. Townreading people for giving off good vibes just does not work there.

Luka claims that he could easily be steamrolling everyone as scum if he just put in effort and while that's probably true, he does put in some effort at the start of the game and then that effort drops off a cliff after I townread him. Part of me thinks that if he's scum then his partners are probably in good positions and he doesn't need to do anything towards the end of the day???

I don't understand why her confusion in 35 could be perceived as 'iffy.' It seems like a normal clarifying question. I also dislike how you characterize 49 as a soft defense, it's not a particularly soft defense nor do I see how or why Sakura would have defended Kawaii harder while still being logical. Would you rather Sakura say that we should never vote Kawaii?

120 is a similar story, so what if you think 21 and 24 are NAI? Sakura sees something AI in them but you fail to explain why those posts are NAI to you, and you instead just vote Sakura.

Your wording in 122 is off too. You say that "I'm sure you don't care about my opinion, don't see why that doesn't make you evil" - you're coming at Sakura from a predefined conclusion of her being scum and it's up to her, with every post, to prove that she isn't mafia.

1. I want to know what your strongest reads are at this moment. Which players do you have the most confidence in just being town? Which players do you have a particularly bad feeling about, even if you can't currently justify it? I want to know the opinions that matter most to you atm.

2. Following that, I also want to know what you all think of the following slots:

{STD, Gamma, Penguin, Pooky, Chungus, jjh}

(I'm not solely limited to focusing on those slots, that's just where my own PoE has me atm and I want something to more meaningfully sort between them.)

My end goal is to push the game in a positive direction. I am seeing a lack of cohesion/willingness to drive the game forward all around, and my intention is to change that and get pressure on high equity scum slots.

I also want to trial what happens if I just openly and transparently do this, as opposed to doing it the inconspicuous way. It seems like a good opportunity to try it, considering the stagnant game state.

1. My strongest read right now is that Kyo and Sakura are town. I have weaker townreads on Cakez, Dunn, and you. I have a bit of a bad feeling about Cephrir, from what I've seen of the most recent pages people seem to be townreading him and I don't quite get why.

2. STD: Idk what to make of him but his most recent push on Dunn is very different to how town!him played in Secrets of the Anukat Topaz, in that game he lurked and provided nothingburger reads the entire game and while he's been doing that in this game up to now, the Dunn push is a marked departure from that. I want to say it's town but I'm not sure.

I'm conflicted on Gamma. Her push on STD seemed somewhat bad faith, but I did quite like that she pressure voted Cephrir at the same moment in which I was thinking "hey, this Cephrir guy seems kind of weird." I've kind of been avoiding engaging with her tbh though

Penguin I'm not sure. I buy Pooky's read on him regardless of Pooky's alignment, and I also think that Pooky's townread of him is towny for Pooky too, albeit less so because of his extensive scumrange. Other than that I have no reason to townread or scumread him

I've previously detailed my reasons for scumreading Chungus, mainly that I don't see any real attempt to solve from them. I also thought their theory about me/Dunn as partners was strange. I haven't checked the circumstances around their reevaluation of me/Dunn, I'll do that at some point.
