.it is much easier to catch scum if you know...we can actually catch them. I still think the 1st scum was caught through luck, and if we hadn't then we would be sitting here with no agency to the game at all.

I would rather no kill day 1 than anything.
I think the only people who control day 1 are scum, and town is pushed into awkward positions running up people and getting claims. I have in thr past been killed day 1 because I refused to claim.

So I now just vote longest wagon in the hope of it ending as quickly as possible with as little collateral damage as we can.

Then....then night happens and town can (usually) start hunting from a non blind position.

.it is much easier to catch scum if you know...we can actually catch them. I still think the 1st scum was caught through luck, and if we hadn't then we would be sitting here with no agency to the game at all.

The problem I have with the word infuriating is that I never once had a negative feeling about our lack of PR. I speculated we had one and specced 11:4 based on it.

If anything

I feel positively about it. There's no nonsense or drama and I feel like we can proceed with a 12:3 theory without worrying as much about a traitor or PR claim. This clarity today has been

huge

for us and now let's us look at pairs and how they intersect with Ranger rather than a potential web of disinformation.

And IMO, it makes it less likely that scum would bus. Ranger was very recoverable before they shit out more bad reads, made a bad claim that contradicted earlier hint of major PR (or fucky mechanics).

Your inability to line up with how I feel makes me think this is fake anger.

This game kind of pisses me off.

USUALLY I can kind of sense who the Scums are, and I slowly start homing in on them. This go around I'm still not catching any slight signals. Usually there's a trace tell that catches my gut radar, but my gut just isn't catching anything. Still wouldn't surprise me if Thomith/Gypyx were Mafia Neighbors like Ranger, but no one wants to pull on that thread. Excluding those two I can't really sense who the Scum are, so they're playing much better than the usual Scum I've caught.
