Sorry I haven't posted for a while, guys, but my exams are all done now, and I can forum to my hearts content, now.
Yeah... this is really worrying... we've lost a lot of people already...
I'm inclined to agree with the rest of the town at the moment:
Spqr: We want answers!Empathy -- Angelic like sin.-

I did look at what you said, but I don't find it logical. The would have the sameroleas Spqr, and the same motives. We absolutely have to hold Spqr's actions against any replacement. Otherwise baddies who do stupid things can run away happily thinking, "No problem - nobody will hold it against my replacement!!"-

Oops! I just realized I was guilty of not seeing what was said.
For some reason, on first reading I thought you said thatIsaid I would give Spqr a clean slate. Not sure how I came up with that.
Oh well, I guess I got my stupid act out of the way early this game.

My point is, that we have a newbie jump the gun on the bandwagon. That is precisely why it is a good idea to leave a few spots on the bandwagon and not just one. I'd be willing to bet it was just a newbie mistake, but if you guys are going to hold it against any replacement (who can't justify actions they did not partake in), we'd might as well lynch them now. Who wouldwantto take his place??Fishblog!-

I agree - It's not fair on a replacement.
I would be quite happy to lynch him/her without response, apart from the niggly little worry that maybe theydidjust make a newbie mistake. After all people were jumping on the bandwagon pretty damn quick, maybe s/he just thought that's how you're supposed to play mafia.
But I really can't see anyone (even a newbie) genuinely making that kind of mistake.... I'd take your bet anyday, Fishbulb.-

Even if I wanted to give the replacement a clean slate, it is not humanly possible for me to get the image of that scummy move out of my head, sorry.
Besides, I am trying to help win the game for the town here.... it's our responsibility to use all information available to us to try and win. And right now, the town needs all the leads and info that it has because we haven't been doing that well so far.-

Well hello everyone, its a shame we have to meet each other under these less than good circumstances, atleast less than good for me. I must apologize for my previous self. He or she obvious just got caught up in the moment. SInce i am so close to death and it doesnt look liek im going to be given i clean slate the best option i can think of is to claim.
Im as dull as it is just your average townie, no special powers, no night ability, nothing. so having said all that. With the loss of so many pro-town people already i wouldnt recommend lynching me but alas, its not up to me is it. I've done all that i can so now i leave it up to you. If there are any other questions ill be happy to answer them. just ill be in class from 9 am to 12:30 eastern time so dont think im avoiding at those times tomorrow. right now i really dont have and suspect because well frankly after that first day i would have suspected me after what spqr did. until my next post Please dont lynch..-

I appreciate Talitha's reasoning though. Zoneace (welcome!) has joined a game, taking over from someone who sealed someone else's fate and thus drew a massive amount of suspicion upon himself. It's impossible not to bear it in mind, and that makes Zoneace's deal much harder. However, if we'd just lynched him, then nobody gets to have the difficult-replacement-deal...Mojo wrote:
why would you want to do that, so the day will just go off just like day 1?Talitha wrote:I agree - It's not fair on a replacement.

FOS: Talitha
because of some reason wanted day one scenerio all over again
But the potential for it just being a mistake held our collective hands (or fingers, if you like) and now we have him claiming townie and I don't know what to think at all.I don't want to be a hair, I want to be a DRAGON!-

Yeah, that was my point. But it's too late for that now. I'm just happy someone agreed to take that positionCarmine wrote:It's impossible not to bear it in mind, and that makes Zoneace's deal much harder. However, if we'd just lynched him, then nobody gets to have the difficult-replacement-deal...
I'm willing to ignore the actions of his predecessor. Like I said previously, I think we should be looking at those who put it so close to the lynch to allow a newbie to do something like that. Those two votes that put him one away were unnecessary and just as heinous as what spqr did, in my opinion.Fishblog!-

Agreed, its impossible to ask for the replacement to explain his predecessors actions.
That beeing said, Prizm, care to explain why you put isaac so close to the lynch limit?
Also, a general mafia question, is it allowed to search a players previous posts?
Right now im doing so on Prizm to see if he has ever done such a thing before, but i can see this beeing discouraged as you will be getting information from outside of the game thread.-
