In post 49, Slandaar wrote:why is you being at one vote convenient for my explanation? do you seriously think putting a second vote on someone is a scumtell? what is there to explain exactly?

Of course it's a scumtell. Who would dare to vote me if they are town? No, seriously, I don't need any explanations from you, Slandaar. My point being is : Aru's vote is a little bit extreme, bad excuse to park his vote on TAM. Or was it a "joke vote"? Doesn't seem to be one, and if it is, it is not needed at all. It's just fluff ...

Maybe none? Or like I said, trying to make TAM's comment less important, even futile. But I'd like Arugula to answer. That vote seems a little bit extreme to me.

Extreme? You're at two votes, we need to get out of the random stage as quickly as possible. A vote's a great tool to spark people to say something, to expose scum who may make a slip or sommat.

You shouldn't skim. Arugula voted TAM. So I had only one vote on me until yours. I agree we have to get out of the RVS, but you don't try to do that by voting for someone who's just a little bit impatient.

Explain this

Emphasis mine. Your original proposal was apparently not about actually asking for mass claim, but just provoking reactions?
People have already made good points; mass claim now would frustrate our ability to do individual reads, which is counter productive, all we need to do is catch ONE scum, and we win.

Seemed like a good way to start discussion and see who had been thinking about if mass claim is good or not and who had been thinking 'Well wiki says mass claim better late so guess better massclaim late' Looking for reactions you could call it yes.

It wasn't a joke, but it wasn't a permanent vote either. I'm not shouting OMG TAM IS SCUM LYNCH HIM LYNCH HIM. Your reaction to it is terrible though. How the hell is trying to get out of RVS extreme?

I don't really see this as scummy. Maybe he was bored and wanted the game to start, and now it's 4th of July and he can't get on. I don't know, but I'll wait for Snake's explanation. +Town for Slandaar for noticing though.

Cute. There are people who haven't posted yet, and the game's only been going for three days.

Let's not be so twitchy, eh? I admit, people could be posting a bit more, not naming any names, but now is not the time for a lurker wagon.

Cant wait for game to start
Game starts
Posts once in 3 days

The important bit is; nothing in the three days has really happened. So he as scum came in got the vote down early then decides to lurk till something happens... its safe scumplay.
If you don't punish this type of play all that happens is the town post early get into a war and beat each other up then the scum enter a little later and join the party.

The fact he was getting an exact start time shows he was interested in playing, but he actually isnt playing which backs up this hencewhy hes the vote over all the other lurkers.

Voting Snake is good.

Why place your vote back on Malee now we are out of RVS stage as you put it?

Brundibar, and Fennin (especially the latter) need to get posts in.

Hey

without getting so thorough into theory, when
is
the time for lurker wagons? I'm looking for a short answer.

Also, did anyone else think that this was weird? (underline and italicized emphasis is mine, not in the original post)

She was saying how extreme it was for me to vote you for being impatient. She also thought I was catering to your post when I unvoted her, because she thinks putting someone at L-2 is scummy.

Then she says that we shouldn't get out of RVS by voting a player because they are impatient, when exactly that happened. AND IT WORKED.

Actually Arg... Technically, it didn't.

That would be when I switched my vote.

So that means she's scum if she gave in your opinion a horrible reaction?

That makes sense to you how?

. . .

I'm trying to decide if you are a hypocrite or stupid...

I could argue that your vote on me was overreacting to a simple vote, and you thought my vote which put Jal at L-2 was scummy...

Also She hasn't been on since you asked the question if she thought that so saying that is misinterpreting her words until she responds.

So you're being just a teensy bit hypocritical and definitely scummy because of it.

I didn't think that your vote was scummy because it put someone at L-2. And my vote on you was to get out of RVS.
