Prohawk, I was saying we no lynch if we do the alignment reveal plan. We're not doing the alignment reveal plan because we can't even do that anymore. Ergo, we're lynching today.
How in the world can you say that what RC did was obvious? Klick wasn't anywhere near scummy (at least not to me, he was barely even there) so why would you think RC had any way of obviously knowing that Klick would be scum and would warrant a lynch? Unless you're suggesting he got outside knowledge or something,

Prohawk, I don't think anyone who says they "dislike" someone in mafia means they dislike them personally - like Zoidberg said - it means I dislike the idea of your slot being town. Perhaps disbelieve would be a better word for my definition.

Yeah, I don't really care about games the first day, so I probably just didn't read too much into Klick being scummy and therefore didn't find him scummy.

My point is I am not here to make in-game friends or allies so most of my methods will be harsh because they have to be in order to fish out scum. If dislike = scum read then thats fine, I just need to know so that I am not mis-repping your posts when I gather evidence.

No, I hate politics, couldn't care less about it. I think you're the scummiest one so far :/ And that's not saying much cause I have absolutely horrible reads day 1. Seriously. Absolutely horrible. And I know that, hence why I'm such a fail day 1, and don't expect any better. I think your scummy because you're actually thinking logically. By now I'm just thinking that's just you, but when I'm looking for scum, I'm looking at who seems to be really putting thought into every single one of their posts. Making them perfect and well-worded and thought out. So far, that's exactly what you've been doing.

@Hawk: You may not be here to make friends, but only scumhunting is not enough. You also need to explain to the rest of us and convince us why your reads make sense. Otherwise, we won't vote like you do. So even if you find both nightmares, unless you can convince us of their guilt, it's all for nothing. This isn't about harshness, it's about whether your reasoning is something others will accept as valid. I've said this several times in a few games: Mafia is not an adversarial game; it is a cooperative one. The town must share information appropriately, if it wants to have a chance to win.

Normally, I don't care, and in the beginning it was relevant because of discussion about rulings and such, but now it's just stupid and it definitely doesn't help that some of us feel a little left out of your little powow.

Yes, they are the same setup. Yes, they contain some of the same players.

But whatever hidden benefit this conversation holds for you select few, it does nothing at all for the rest of us. Explain your reads when you say shit like "oh he's Town because he was Town in that game and he's acting the same in this game" or whatever, but discussion about events or strategies that happened and could only happen in a single game should hold no place in this one. That's my point. Now stop it.

What Mitillos just said about Micro 56 is a perfect example of something that's actually relevant between the games. Looking at 2 games of the same size and setup and assuming the number of Scum based on the similarities between the two games isn't a Scumslip, it's good reasoning. I assumed there were 2 Scum as well, because that's usually the case in all Micros. Why try and paint that assumption as a Scumslip, Zoidberg?

@scream: Discussion of Micro 56 is as relevant as any meta. In my case, it was the first game I played with Piggy and Emp and the second game I played with Zoid. It coloured my perception of their playstyles. It is true that the alignments in that game are not directly relevant, but if you would dismiss it out of hand, you must discard all meta. And I don't think that's a good idea. I will continue to refer to that game, when I think it is necessary and relevant.
Speaking of which, I'm a bit curious about Piggy's post 112. @Piggy: In the previous game, you made a similar comment about guns, when suggesting that we use the gunsmith role to search for nightmares. And yet, this time, you say that Mist talking about guns was a scumslip. What's that about?
