Also this head is V/LA, so you better wait for the other one to say something. As far as I see it, Mist was hopping that targetting Siv with a post restriction would make it look like a town-tell. At least, I think it's very unlikely for Mist and Siv to be scumbuddies.

I'm very put-off by Mist's choice, though. Post restrictions are not town-motivated. At best you're just lowering the signal:noise ratio in teh thread which makes it easier for scum to blend in. At worse you're going to cause a mislynch if the person reacts differently than you expected him/her to.

Funny thing that neither Mist nor ProHawk got targgeted. Not sure of the meaning of that.

So I guess the only really confirmed action is the post-restriction on Siveure, unless he is scum with Mist.

I think a Mist-qwints scumteam makes sense. They thought Mist would gain town-cred with the post-restriction, and qwints would gain town-cred for protecting a "obvtown" player.
I'm not sure if making someone reflective over just doc-protection is scummish or not. I think there is enough here to be discussed.

The other thought I had for why to have the post restriction is to try and lynch somebody by making them scummier. Idk.

I'm kindof too paranoid to vote, but the first vote thing is kindof a global action, isn't it?

The other obvious possibility is maybe Scream-Zoidberg, as that sort of reflecting investigation could have been faked. Especially given that they went last.

OK, don't expect much from me for a while. I will look at all the actions taken and see who could be lying. If we can limit the possibilities to a few pairs, we can confirm stuff by having one person of one pair vote for one person in another and seeing what happens, in terms of vote counts and so on. Please do not make any rash moves yet, just in case.

Also, I think qwints' action was because Siv suggested vigging Mist. Reflection is a bit much though, so maybe you should have gone with protection, since there probably can't be actions that supercede others anyway.

Just a few things I don't understand...

1) Emp, why an Ascetic/Aesthetic over Commuter? From what I understand you would still be susceptible to a night kill as an Ascetic.

2) I don't recall one person saying that mist was obvtown.

3) Mist's motive stated in post #249 does not make sense to me. Mist please show me how someone who has to claim scum every third post can do it in a suspicious manner without out-rightly stating it.

4) Post #263 leads me to believe there is more to the post-restriction than Mist has led us to believe?

Some scattered thoughts:

1) Do we want to mutually agree on someone we think is scummy to make the first vote?
2) I went reflective over protect because I was fairly confident that no one was going to vig. I was going for a scum self-kill.
3) We should remember that there was nothing preventing scum from going double godfather last night

3 would mean that most likely candidates are Empking and ProHawk since they self-targeted. It's a possibility that Empking claimed earlier to waylay any possible suspicion that could've come from being Watched or Tracked. Also, not sure why there's the stupid mistrust of cross-investigations. If we had at least taken a little time to plan out N1 this sortof shit could've been avoided, but NO that's just completely out of the question. If somebody wants to investigate us again tonight go ahead. You can even WIFOM it up between the both of us and not specify that you're the one who wants to do the investigating.

Mist needs to explain that stupid post restriction now.

Also not sure about qwints' reflection...could've been an attempt to catch a Vig bullet or something.

@qwints: But why would they try to kill Mist? That makes no sense, as almost everyone was leaning slightly scum on her. She hammered Piggy; if Piggy had been scum, I'd agree with the possibility of Mist being shot at. But Piggy was town. There is no reason to assume that someone would try to kill Mist.

I'd also like to see Mist's exact wording of her action, like qwints said, and afterwards I would like to hear from Siv what his restriction says.
