reason why I thought reck was scum early is because his early posts look real bad to me. The early reads stuff in the spoiler on game post #57 is the worst just because of the weirdness of a really jokey not completely serious reads and then getting an actual list of reads from it and also super hate the <this list of people haven't posted yet> and although there are five of them they are totally sketch instead of just 'hey dudes post or ur faggots' or something and then the questions to fate are fairly bad too but nuwen already mentioned that. Plus reck going LOLOLOL MASON CLAIM when the person he claimed it with had like 4ish votes seemed way more like a really dumb distraction or something that 'he might do as town' so he did it even though it doesn't actually help shit at all and I'm pretty sure he knew that.

like it's posssssible that reck's town but I hate his posts more than anyone else's and I really don't have any other scumreads right now. I could maybe go for ythan just for sniping at meaningless shit like he did in the last reckoning invitational but that's not anything super strong. I'd sheep adorkable because I think pie looks town but I really have no confidence in esurio's reads and the ut vote looks like esurio. (plus ut looks a little town for his responses to nuwen+reck)

So I'm basically going to continue sitting here and being a worthless pile of dicks for a bit while you guys figure stuff out.

The last invitational I played in (scummer of love) a ton of the mafia just kind of lurked and never really explained their votes all that much, I had to vig them to get rid of them. I'm thinking that it might be a solid idea to do so here too. (not vig, look for scum). Actually looking back at that game, Reck was scum and plays ridiculously differently.

You immediately reply upon being called out for lurking, have an exchange with Nuwen, and when that exchange ends, you vote fate and then disappear again. Definitely suspicious. But the responses themselves are actually kinda good.

singlork's #504 is a decent case against fate. Specifically the second statement about strawmanning. However, knowing the way he tends to do things such as fakeclaim, I can easily see him strawmanning someone with an opposing view even as townFate. Does anybody have any meta knowledge either way on this?

I actually see it as town-v-town. Why is that not a possibility? Seems to me that if it were town-v-town, scum would want to make it seem as though it couldn't be, so that after seeing one as town, we would be inclined to lynch the other... I can easily see how Matt could find you to be scum. I'm uncertain on the issue, but it is a choice between the two S's (stupid and scum). Also, if one of them is scum, then it is more likely to be Fate than Reck. I think that Reck in this game is more obvtown than anybody (who has not been confirmed by role info) has been in any game I have played.

Fate could be the only alternative mislynch on the plate right now (who doesn't love a good Fate bbq and wouldn't like to resolve past grudges, deeep deep down?). Fate could be a goon to UT's godfather. Fate could disappear into a black bag and become the next papal candidate.

What's IMPORTANT is that Fate IS NOT IMPORTANT because not only is he ignoring me and my reads, he's also calling my scum pick town. Even if he's scum the LAST thing I want to do is give him attention and a platform to use for misdirection and other stuff.
