Probably not...I don't even know where I'm going to be come New Year's, and (no offense to you guys, obviously) hopefully I will have much better plans by then. The main issue, though, is that I've lived in St. Louis for almost 2 years and haven't spent a New Year's with any of my friends there or my friends up in Chicago who have been trying to get me to come up there for the holiday. So it's time to change things up. Like I said last time, if this was on different dates you could probably count me a definite.

I propose Jan 17th-26th (or thereabouts), because it spans MLK Day (Jan 20th), so those of us who have to take vacation get one extra day for free due to the holiday.

Also, I'm personally biased because I'm hopefully going to be hired to DJ an event the weekend of Jan 10-12, so I wouldn't be able to make it that weekend. Thus, if this was early in the month, the best I could do is come down for that first weekend after the New Year.

I can fly to RDU from STL for $356 + tax roundtrip if my flight was Dec 28-Jan 6 (same as last year's dates). The farther we push this from the actual holiday, the cheaper it will be.

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh this is looking less likely what with me moving to California. More expensive flights, and I'll be bouncing back from moving costs. We'll see how things shake out by December. Honestly, the biggest problem is that I have 5 less vacation days next year, so I don't want to use them all right away. I might be able to do a 4-day stint or something, though.
